I purchased this reading pillow for my 6-foot-tall teenage son after he had knee surgery, and I honestly wish I had gotten it sooner! It has been an absolute lifesaver during his recovery. He needed to be propped up comfortably for hours at a time—whether for resting, watching TV, or doing homework—and this pillow delivered on every front. The pillow is exceptionally supportive without being stiff. It holds its shape well and offers firm, ergonomic back and neck support without flattening out like some others we’ve tried in the past. The high back and wide arms make it perfect for taller users, which was one of my biggest concerns. My son didn’t feel like he was sinking or slouching—he actually looked comfortable (which, for a teenager recovering from surgery, says a lot!). I love it, it took about a week to fill in but it's perfect. I had a problem but the seller was right there and took care of me with no issues, which was wonderful. They treated me with much kindness and care. I sleep sitting up for a medical reason and this is perfect. I sit in bed to read and end up falling asleep. Yes, the material looks wrinkled, but it is charming and comfortable. It is solid, and it just fits my back and neck perfect;y. Worth every penny. Read more

I was contacted by the seller shortly after the review below and was offered a refund. Their customer service was impressive. A company that cares about their customers satisfaction is a company I’d do business with again. Which is the case here. After several trips in the dryer I no longer detect the chemical smell. I decided to keep the pillow as it is super comfy-supportive and soft. I upgraded the overall rating. As mentioned below, I’d give 5* if there was no chemical smell needing airing out. ————————————————————————————- The bad: The stuffing smells like chemicals which in turn makes the covering as well. I have washed the cover but it’s no match for the stuffing. It’s in an airing-out place currently. We’ll see what happens. Otherwise I guess my money's wasted as a bulldozer couldn’t flatten it enough to return to the original packaging. The good: . It is soft and cozy. I put in the dryer upon receipt and it formed perfectly after 15 minutes. . I like that the cover can be washed. . I like that the stuffing can be removed if too plump for your liking. I actually removed quite a bit and honestly it just loves to plump itself. I swear it’s the same size it was initially. . It’s a great size for a tall person . It gives good support If it wasn’t for the chemical smell I’d give it 5 stars. If you have allergies you’ll definitely notice the smell. I will say however, my husband couldn’t pick up what I did. This item has held up surprisingly well. It is light enough to ride with me when I camp, chills on my bed during the day, and comfortably supports my late-night doomscrolling habits. I'm not quite sure what to use the pocket for, unless you have a remote. I don't have a TV, but I see how that could be useful to someone who does. It may be large enough to quickly hide things you don't want seen. I also appreciate that it has an easy-to-remove and washable cover. Read more

I read multiple reviews before ordering this pillow. I followed all instructions for removing the signficant wrinkles. As of this review, the wrinkles are still very present (Photo #1), but are not a problem for me. The issue for me is the ARMS. They are too short, and will not face forward no matter how many times I reposition them (Photo #2). This means there's NO SUPPORT for my arms when reading, which totally defeats the purpose of a reading pillow. I read one review that said this pillow was "perfect for her 6 foot son". I'm only 5 feet tall and the arms are at least 3 inches too short! This design flaw is unfortunate because the gray cover is made with a nice, soft fabric, and the back is comfortable. Read more

They were just as I had hoped! Easy to remove zippered cover, because I bought three, for my three grand nieces and nephews.
