Very happy with the great quality, carpet texture which is soft and plush but not slippery. They are perfect for our stairs. We ordered the Bullnose which fits the stair lip perfectly and adds to the nice appearance. Absolutely love the Black Walnut color and that it will minimize the show of dirt/fuzz. Just installed them & would of preferred a little adhesive on the carpet corners to help prevent lifting especially the one that enters the hallway. Our bathroom entrance is immediately at the edge of the carpet. . (Will add small piece of double sided carpet tape to prevent lifting). Absolutely love these and wish we would of done this many years ago.! Packing of the carpet treads was fine however, our order/shipment form enclosed in the box has a different customers order, name and address on it. So that leaves me wondering who has our order form with our personal information on it? Will be contacting customer service in regards to this. Overall very happy with our choice. Update: It’s been several months now since we’ve installed these and never had to add any additional carpet tape on the corners as mentioned we were going to do in first review. We absolutely LOVE these stair treads! Our new home has hardwood stairs, and we wanted to get some treads to prevent slipping and falling. We got them in Dove, which is a beautiful neutral brown color. If you look closely, there is some light colored threads woven with the brown, too. The treads are SO classy, elegant, and cozy. They’re also soft and nicely padded! In regards to installation, it was very easy! We cleaned and wiped down our hardwood stairs with isopropyl alcohol as recommended in the instructions. We then used a tape measure to center them, peeled off the liner from the back of the tread, then placed the tread firmly down. My husband and I installed these within 30 minutes! I am also surprised how well the adhesion/grip is; the treads don’t move at all! The adhesion is like a sticky gel, but doesn’t damage the hardwood. I added a picture of the back of a tread, with the liner still attached. Also FYI if you need a specific depth, you can contact their customer service! Just click on the Amazon seller link. Our stairs are 11” in depth, and we asked them to customize our treads to that measurement. They responded quickly and our order was perfect. I was told not to buy carpet treads because they move when walked on and I would be constantly repositioning them. Not with these! They stay put where you place them. I was concerned that they would glue themselves to the steps. Nope. They can be pulled up for cleaning or repositioning if you want to. The curve around nicely over the bull nose without interfering with the cove molding under the step's bull nose. The quality appears to be decent. I don't know how long they will last but I like the idea that I can easily replace them or clean them off the step. The vendor, Oak Valley, has a lot more choices on their web-site. It's been nearly a year now and they still look excellent. They clean easily with a vacuum and there is no discernible wear. They look as good as when new. It's January 2022 and these carpet treads look as good as new. They clean easily with the vacuum cleaner. They stay put but can be moved if needed. No glue or tape is needed as the sticky backing does the job. The sewn edges of the treads stay on well. I'd buy these again. Read more

Love these carpet treads. They are thick, the color is perfect and they are well made. So happy with my purchase I'm buying more for the steps leading in to the basement. They don't smell and they stick well and can be repositioned if needed. Didn't think I would like that they are rounded over the edge but I do love that too. I feel safer going up and down the stairs now and have even gone down with out holding on to the railing something I haven't down in years. Thank you for a wonderful product. I bought these for our wood steps going down to the basement. They are very very well made and they look very nice. They have good thickness for comfort and we're easy to install. Very pleased with them. They are worth the extra cost over the cheaply made ones. Read more

These stair treads are the best value I have shopped. Installation was easy and they look beautiful. Our aging Chocolate Lab Bella is able to manage the staircase now because of this product! I do need an additional 3 treads and not sure just yet how to order single treads. Read more

These look nice and are easy to install. The carpet does seem to be quality and the bull nose design makes for a professional looking installation. It took me around 15-20mins. I used alcohol to clean the new luxury vinyl steps and a tape measure to center things. The question is are they worth double the cost of similar designs. Unfortunately, I can't answer that. I will say that I was expecting see some added padding. While they feel good to walk on, it just the pile of carpet that provides cushion. Thats just an observation more then a complaint. These arrived well packaged and are well worth the money. I wasted money trying to buy something less expensive that just didn't stay in place. These stay where you put them and are very well made. Easy to vacuum pet hair off of and they feel really good on bare feet. We put them on hardwood stairs and they are holding up nicely to kids and pets. Highly recommend. Read more
