Fun addition to my collection

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sleek, Fun, and Totally Worth It I absolutely love my Meta glasses. Shipping was fast, which was a huge plus, and they were even cooler in person than I expected. They’re sleek, lightweight, and surprisingly easy to use — definitely a conversation starter. They feel well made and fit comfortably, and the tech is super fun without feeling overwhelming. I’ve already been using them way more than I thought I would. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and would 100% recommend them if you’re looking for something innovative and cool to add to your everyday lineup. Read more

Bittersweet quality

Fabio POctober 18, 2025

Battery Life: Battery drains heavily when recording video with auto-sync enabled. Keep sync paused until you get home, or bring the charging case with you. Connectivity & Voice Commands: Connecting to your phone is easy. However, voice commands for messaging are unreliable—the glasses frequently send messages to the wrong person or use the wrong platform. For example, saying “Hey Meta, send a text message to Mary P on text message” sometimes sends it via Facebook or Instagram instead. Camera Quality: Photo quality is excellent. Video quality is good—the 3K resolution works well for recording high-speed attractions. Audio: Audio quality and noise cancellation are at an acceptable level. The side volume controls don’t work efficiently when sweating. I also noticed the volume fluctuates (goes up and down) in noisy environments—possibly a safety feature? Comfort & Fit: Despite many complaints, I found them comfortable even with a larger head. However, they tend to slip down your nose when sweating. Important tip: Get the Pilot Fish accessory to keep them secure at all times, especially if you’re active or sweat-prone like me. Style & Setup: I love the look and style. Synchronization is somewhat complicated to set up. Major Downside: For $449 glasses, there’s no “Find My Glasses” feature or ability to play a sound to locate them—even the cheapest headphones have this nowadays. I lost them at Target and thanks god manager return them right away, I got lucky enough. Dope glasses, but bigger than you expect!

Andrew FreySeptember 25, 2025

This product was awesome. I found that for someone who can wear larger glasses, they would work well. For my face i thought they were slightly too big. They were comfortable to wear, they weren't heavy at all with all of the electronics in it. The lenses were very clear and usable, but the transitions struggled to keep my eyes shaded. I still found myself squinting while outside in the sun. I love these glasses, but I dod exchange them for the smaller framed Wayfair models for no other reason except for the style fitting me more than the HSTN. Read more

Better version of meta smartglasses

NazrilDecember 16, 2025

what can i say, this is better version than 1st gen rayban meta. however fit is pretty snugged for my face. i guess i need to get use to that. it feels quite heavy after long usage. The image and video quality are exceptional for smartglasses. Battery life is better. Read more

Top Notch!

senmbailDecember 4, 2025

I purchased these just for the sake of having them. However, once I receive them, I quickly discovered that they were a huge asset to my line of work. Everything from still images, to videos, and the translation mode, which also transcribe your entire conversation into your apps history is invaluable.!! The music selection, the apps it will sync these things are absolutely amazing! Read more

Legendary Look, Glitchy Setup, Weak Tint, and That Blinking Snitch Light

SubSevenXOctober 18, 2025

I bought the Oakley Meta HSTN for the style, stayed for the tech—and nearly rage-quit during setup. These smart glasses are sleek, lightweight, and surprisingly comfortable for all-day wear. The audio is crisp, the touch controls are intuitive, and the voice assistant integration feels like sci-fi made real. But then came the messaging setup loop. Despite enabling notifications and contact sync on my iPhone 16 Pro Max (iOS 26), the Meta AI app kept throwing an error: “Turn on Show Message Notifications and Sync Contacts.” They were already on. I toggled, rebooted, reinstalled—nothing worked. The fix? Changing “Show Previews” for Messages to “Always” and rebooting the phone. That single tweak unlocked messaging like a cheat code. It’s a known bug with iOS 26 and Meta AI’s permission detection, but once you beat it, the glasses work flawlessly. Now the real-world test: sunlight. The lenses look great indoors and in shade, but they don’t get dark enough in direct sun. If you’re expecting full transition-style tinting, you’ll be squinting. It’s more fashion-forward than function-forward when it comes to UV protection. And here’s the dealbreaker for stealth users: The LED recording light is always on when capturing video—and there’s no way to disable it. I get the privacy angle, but it kills the cinematic vibe. You’re trying to record a moment discreetly, and instead you’ve got a blinking tattletale on your face. Bottom line: If you’re tech-savvy and patient, these glasses are a vibe. Just be ready to wrestle with setup if you’re on iOS 26, don’t expect blackout shades in bright sun, and forget about stealth recording. Once it’s dialed in, you’re living in the future—with Oakley style and a glowing forehead. Read more
