I have given up on Almond Milk and Coconut Milk ever sense I tried this Oat Milk. It taste the closest to real whole milk to me. That does not mean that everyone would like it as much as I. My daughter does not care for it that much, but I love it. To me the taste is great, the cap opens up without any tabs breaking off, so no spilled milk like that Almond milk I had to deal with. Oatsome is fabulous. This delivery though was lousy. 2 cases packed in one box was way too heavy. Fortunately we noticed the delivery person walking across our yard to deliver the too-heavy box to the vacant house next store. If we hadn't noticed we'd still be waiting for someone to visit there. We went to check to see if it was what we were expecting, and it was, so we dragged it home. The review below is still true, though it's been a long while since we drank Califia. From earlier: We've been drinking Califia Barista Oat Milk and much enjoying it, but worried about Glyphosate content since Califia is not organic. Delighted when I found this Organic one, tried a case to see if it was comparable, and it's every bit as tasty, and no Glyphosate since it's Organic. I drink it by the glass, like I did Cow's Milk as a kid. Yum. Goes great with Rebbl, for example Hazelnut Protein or Cold Brew Coffee Protein. Califia Barista says 3g sugar per 8oz, while this one says 13g sugar per 8 oz. However, there's very little if any difference in taste or sweetness, so I'm assuming that Oatsome uses 4 times as many Oats as Califia. As of April 2022 they seem to have fixed the "under-lid seal" problem, where the plastic tab ring used to pull out of the foil seal before the foil seal pulled out of the carton. Either that, or I've finally mastered the right technique for pulling the tab, because the tab now pulls the foil seal out perfectly every time when I PULL STRAIGHT UP on the tab. Read more

One of the draws to products like this, health wise is the sodium count. A lot less in Oatsome than other comparable barista milks. I liked the taste very much and is stirred in quite well, just adding it to the coffee cup. (Out of habit with oat milks, I shake it anyhoo!) Good to keep on hand a multi-pack, in case of running out of regular milk, not needing refrigeration until opened. Serves the same purpose. Good amount of time before it expires. Have also tried flavoring it with vanilla extract, coconut milk powder ad a squirt of maple syrup. Good flavored or right out of the box. I like Oatsome products and have also tried their oats, for overnight oats. Read more

This is really handy to have around for making dairy free hot chocolate, fluffy scrambled eggs, etc. We like it so much, I bought a case. This size doesn't take up much room in the refrigerator. The cartons don't leak or tip over easily. Read more

I love oat milk but this stuff is gross. Oat milk is thin by nature but the good ones have a thick feel to them similar to whole milk. This feels like skim in its viscosity. I could forgive it if that were the only issue but this brand has a wang to it. If you’re used to eating beef then try venison for the first time that off putting taste is “wang.” It’s almost sour and lacks the delicate sweetness I’m used to. Not saying it tastes like venison just that it’s not smooth, creamy, or delicious like the other brands I’ve had in the past. To top it off the cartons have a cheap stay on cap that gets in the way while you pour so spilling is frequent. Not sure how this got so many good reviews. I only bought this because the price was good and my favorite was out of stock. I wanted to give it 2 stars because I was thinking it’s better than nothing then remembered I threw 3 of the 6 out because I just couldn’t suffer through it anymore, so 1 star it is. Never again.
