I have this attached to an aftermarket 3-way gopro arm/tripod ziptied to the back of my monitor to use my phone as a webcam. Holds my phone securely and no worries about my phone falling out. They do what they do well. But have a spare handy. On my third now. I use it daily in thanks car, clipping in at least twice a day. After a few months, the spring flies out and the expanding arm falls off. The second faster than the first. Still, there’s nothing that works so well where I need it, so . . .
