Hands down the best urine odor eliminator I've ever used. The OdoBan brand is amazing (both scents.) When my toddler accidentally wet the bed I was afraid the nice mattress was ruined. Even though I use a waterproof mattress protector, some pee soaked through. The urine smell was obvious. I used a towel to pull up as much pee as possible, then ran to the store and found this product for the first time. By the time I got home, the pee was dry and smelled bad. I sprayed this all over the pee area until the surface was very damp. Then I turned a fan on to dry the bed. I didn't think it would actually work, but I was desperate to save a five hundred dollar mattress. The next day the bed was totally free of odor. The pee smell did not return and there is no trace of where it was. No stain, no pee smell!!! It doesn't smell like perfume or cleaner either. This product is a disinfectant and odor eliminator. It works. I will never buy another product for pet/toddler accidents. Yes, this works on puppy accidents as well. I shampoo the carpet first, then spray this on and leave it to dry. FANTASTIC! It does freshen things, and I do trust that it is pet safe. However, the smell is too strong. Instead of using this on everything, I only use it on the couch/couch pillows and our nylon desk chair. I hold the nozzle about a foot away and spritz the chair twice; for the couch, I hold it further away, about 14"-16", and spritz four times (it's a three-person couch). I don't do this often at all, probably every month to two months or so -- I base it more on when I think the upholstered furniture needs freshening, than an actual timeline. The smell lingers. It's too strong at first, but is pleasant after a day or so. It is effective at killing any odors, which is the important thing; and it doesn't mask them, it does get rid of them. I only went for the lavender scent because I thought it would be a nice perk. It's so strong I could not use it on the kitchen counters or on cutting boards for daily cleaning. Furthermore, even though I wiped it off with a damp paper towel after 60 seconds, fruit and veg I cut on the cutting boards tasted of cleaning chemicals. I trust that it won't harm me, but I don't enjoy eating food that tastes like OdoBan :) All in all, it's average. I will consider trying the original scent after this bottle runs out, since another reviewer mentioned it is not as strongly scented. Read more

I purchased this on recommendation from a cleaning company owner who uses only this product. I have tried all the store brands and nothing works as well as OdoBan. I used this in my bathroom to remove sticky hairspray residue and I was absolutely baffled at how quick this works! No sitting for minutes to work, just spray and start scrubbing! The tough ring in your bathtub? Works there too! Just a few sprays around the tub and wipe it down. Easy peasy! Have pets? Works awesome on pet stains and accidents! Here's the best part- OdoBan neutralizes the odor on contact so no smell and it doesn't mask does for a short time, it really cleans! So it must have a chemical smell, right? NO!! OdoBan has a pleasant smell and I swear it smells like baby powder! No chemical smell, no fancy perfumes that just hide smells, it really neutralizes the odor and cleans with a great smell. I received the Odoban in a timely manner and it was well packaged. It has a VERY PLEASANT AROMA! It was marketed as a air freshner, wich it did a outstanding job. I did have some concerns about the repeat warnings as to not inhale the spray or fumes, which can be somewhat difficult. Also marketed as a cleaning product, but warns not to get on skin! I suppose one could wear rubber gloves. I did get some on my hands and promptly washed them. I could feel the product tingling my hands before I washed them. I think this is a good product to use with precautions. I think it is available in gallon sizes at a very attractive price. I would recomend this product to a friend with percautions. I have 2 big dogs. When they get sick, it isn't pretty. This stuff is amazing. I was out when one of the dogs got really sick. She managed to eat half a tennis ball and it obviously didn't agree with her. She survived, but I wasn't sure if we were going to. My husband did the best he could on the cleanup. It was really bad. I followed his cleanup with a wet mop with floor cleaner, then steam cleaned. This was on tile. It still smelled. I spray this stuff on the tile and it was amazing. The smell was gone. I wish I had known about this stuff when my kids were young. I could have used it on more than one occasion. Read more
