I’m really impressed with this ODSD steam cleaner. It heats up super fast (about 15 seconds) and produces strong, consistent steam that easily cuts through grease and grime. I’ve used it on bathroom tile and grout, kitchen surfaces, and even for car detailing, and the results are excellent. The 1.6L water tank is a big plus it lasts long enough to clean multiple areas without constantly refilling. First, the disclaimer: No, I have no affiliation with this company; I liked what I saw in the description and reviews, bought and I’m glad I did. I bought this, not only for cleaning, but also to fix a bed bug issue. It is great for both. After using the product, I can see that I will probably only use the naked spray nozzle or augment it with the extension, but there are included accessories for anything and everything. I want to mention a few tips or notes that may prevent frustration due to a lack of detailed documentation. First, I noticed some reviewers complaining that the attachments fit sloppily, flip around or fall off. The documentation fails to mention that one of the o-rings need to be slipped over the end of the spray nozzle, allowing for a snug pressure-fit connection between the spray nozzle and the attachment. Just push the two components together until they seat together. 2nd, you will need two AAA batteries for the pistol grip to control the steamer. This is include in the instructions; I just mention it so you will have them before your unit arrives. 3rd - It was wonderful to find that decent rubber gloves were included to keep your hands cool. However, I have large hands and could not get the gloves on - until I sprinkled powder down in the gloves - and they slipped right on. I actually used Odor Eater powder; don’t laugh, it worked. 4th - The tank fill lines are kind of difficult to see; you may have to hold the unit at eye level to see them. Just don’t fill above the highest mark. Once you turn the unit on, you will hear some clicking sounds as the unit heats up. The unit will quickly begin spewing steam at its lowest velocity. Have no fear, unlike a pressure washer, the hose will not go wild; just don’t have your hand in front of the spray nozzle. The output gets very hot very fast. This is a very nicely engineered unit, and being a Development Engineer myself, I am very impressed with this unit. I cannot find anything that I would change that would not increase the cost dramatically. So, as is the case with any product, there is always a low risk of receiving a product that is dead on arrival; but come on, this is Amazon; if you are not satisfied, then send it back. This thing is the best steamer I’ve ever had! Used it in two bathrooms and now on a stainless steel stove top and it cleans so well. Knocked off one star because the plastic brushes bend and are not stiff enough to really scrub with. However, the hose means I don’t have to hold the unit, the extension works perfectly, it came with extra stoppers and unclogging pieces, it holds plenty of water and the cord is long enough to plug in and carry it across the bathroom. The media could not be loaded. This steamer is small but mighty! With three power settings you can adjust the force of the steam. Even on the lowest level you could see and hear the steam power. The cleaning power was amazing. It heated up so quickly and the instructions were very clear with good illustrations. I like that it came with safety gloves, a cleaning cloth and many different attachments so that you can easily use it for window cleaning, scraping caked on dirt or greasy kitchenware. I find this is really helpful for cleaning. I used in the bathroom and was able to get up mold and some stains. The first 10 minutes it was nice and hot. After that I could clean with my hand in the steam. My partner has had a lot of weird infections lately and I’ve been trying to sanitize the house. Can’t say this did the job I was looking for. My new favorite deep cleaning tool. I used this mainly in the kitchen on the stove and cabinets. The greased lifted so well. The stove looks new. I used a degreaser and let it soak in for 15 minutes. Then used the steamer and most of grease came up. I like the size and how easy it is to use. Read more
