I picked this up to utilize as a "guest chair" in my office as I'm a big guy at 6', 270#. And, after sitting in it a few times, I doubt it would survive my size for very long - it protests a bit verbally, so the claims of 300# are a bit iffy. The chair went together EASY - like a ten-fifteen minute build for experienced fingers. The quality of the seat and the back are top notch... the arm rests were pretty low for my taste but everyone is different on that one. The rollability of the stock wheels are okay, but I have wood floor and they will be getting replaced PRONTO as these are NOT the kind of wheels one keeps unless they like scratched floors - at this price, I would expect better quality wheel material. The back support is fairly generic it's there, it is adjustable and it doesn't creep downward (yet), but it isn't very substantial. All in all, the chair looks great and for my purposes of just having an extra chair for visitors in my office, I think it's great. As to the value for the money, or earning a FULL recommendation - I feel the price is a bit out of line for the quality or a chair of THIS level... by about $50. If someone is particularly interested in this chair, I wouldn't try to talk them out of it, as the seat cushion IS comfortable and it looks good. The media could not be loaded. It is a nice chair! The leather on the bottom is very good quality and it feels great on the skin. It also helps me with my lower back pain since it supports my back very well. My back usually hurts after staring at monitor, but this chair helps me to be in right posture and not have back pain. The chair is comfortable and easy to adjust. The lumbar support is very helpful for your back, and the mesh backrest allows air to pass through, making it ideal for long days. The chair is comfortable and has good back support, it functions fine as well. The reason I could not give it more than 4 stars is due to the fact that it came with absolutely no instructions. A hardware card with bolts and washers that were labeled where they go, but some for the same are are different lengths. Then when fastening the back to the arms, one of the bolt screw holes would not tighten completely and spins like it's stripped and I did not even tighten it as much as the others. I bought this for my nephew to replace his old one. He likes the black color and it’s leather. The setup was easy too. My nephew has been using it for about a week, he liked it. My wife and I have been married for almost 29 years. We’ve gone through more office chairs than I can count. I can’t remember a time, in all those years, when we had a chair we both liked. I’m 6’ 2”, weigh almost 280 lbs and have a large athletic frame. My wife is 5’ 6” and weighs about 130 lbs. As you can imagine finding a chair we both like is a bit of a challenge. When I came across this chair on Amazon, it looked similar enough to an office chair I’ve used at work for almost 10 years (and find very comfortable). The box came packaged well, with clear instructions and all necessary assembly hardware (including the screwdriver). It took me about 15 minutes to put it together and when I tried it out, I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was. It has all the usual chair adjustments…including tilt/no tilt, up/down seat height, and full 360-degree rotation. The armrests do not adjust in height but do fold up and out of the way if you don’t want to use them. I personally would have liked the chair to be a couple of inches wider, but it’s just a personal preference and still find it incredibly comfortable. This chair also offers a unique manually adjustable lower back (lumber) support that is fantastic! Depending upon your stature, you can raise or lower it to meet your personal needs. My wife and I can keep it at the same level, and both are extremely happy with it. My wife sat down and immediately said…”Easy 5 stars for this chair.” I can’t argue with her…it’s comfortable, and I enjoy the breathable mesh back support, too.
