I recently got this office chair, and it has honestly made my workspace so much more comfortable. It was easy to put together, the cushion is supportive without feeling too firm, and the adjustable height lets me sit exactly how I want. The backrest gives great posture support, and the wheels roll smoothly on any surface. This Bestfair home office chair has been a significant improvement over the previous office chair that it replaced. This chair is only used for our personal home office needs, so it is used for several hours a week on a typical basis. Our needs for this chair didn’t demand specific function to be available, or all day sitting comfort to be required here – as a designer, I’m planted in an office chair for 9+ hours a day, so I understand what is needed for this. When this chair became available to test and review via the Vine program, we decided to give it a try – it couldn’t be worse than the chair it would be replacing, right? The Bestfair office chair isn’t just better than the one it replaced, it is a great office chair overall. The mesh material was initially a concern in regards to long-term durability, but after several month’s usage, it’s shown no signs of stretching and/or wear. The way that the mesh conforms to your body, especially with its usage on the lumbar support, finds it to be very comfortable to sit in for several hours. As a hot-nature person, the breathable mesh fabric is simply fantastic to keep me cool when I do spend a few hours planted in the chair. Installation for the chair was easy and well explained, no issues there. Not only is the chair well designed overall, it’s clear that designing the chair so that is is easy to assembly by the customer was also thoughtfully considered. This is very much appreciated. All of the chair’s functions work well, as described in the product description. The adjustable arm rest, adjustable seat height, and the rocking/tilt function all function as intended, and the components used for them are built to last. The ability to adjust the tension for the rocking/tilt function is especially appreciated, but to be honest, at this price point I expect these features to be available. One missing feature that I feel should be available is the ability to lock the chair into place when rocked/tilted back at an angle, or 2-3 different angles at minimum. It’s not a deal breaker for me, due to the chair is only used for a few hours at a time for our needs, but if you’re using this chair for full workdays, this could mean that you need to look elsewhere. The other minor issue is the cheap plastic wheels that come standard on most office chairs. Depending on the floor surface, they may slide around a bit. I do not, however, expect to find rubber caster wheels to come standard at this price point, so this is not a factor regarding my review score, but I did want to mention this. I’ve been very pleased with the Bestfair office chair so far, and expect it to last for many years to come. Speaking of long-lasting, the fabric that covers the cushioned areas of the chair, as well as the mesh are all easily cleaned, unlike my previous office chair. My 3-year old son has gotten food smeared into this chair a few times now, and it wipes completely out of the fabric with nothing more than a simple baby wipe! It’s not a perfect chair, but it’s a comfortable, high-quality office chair that is certainly worthy of it’s asking price, and one that should last you several years if you choose to purchase it. I work long hours at my desk at home every day, so having a comfortable chair is super important to me. First of all, the look is great. I got the light gray one and it fits perfectly with my setup, modern, minimal, and very clean-looking. It makes my whole workspace feel brighter and more organized. The lumbar support is surprisingly effective, my lower back pain is noticeably better. This is way better than my old chair with doesn't have this part. The mesh back keeps me cool even when the AC isn’t on while a fan can easily blow wind through the chair, which is great for me, and the cushion is soft but supportive — you don’t sink into it like some cheaper chairs. The armrests are also very thoughtful touch. You can flip them up if you want to get closer to the desk, and flip them down when you’re leaning back watching something. I also find myself gently rocking when I’m thinking, and it helps me relax a bit between tasks. As I really need a armrest since I like to sit back and watch movie, I used to have another simple chair which is very cool but it doesn't provide a armrest, so I felt very tired sit on that chair and watch movie. Assembly was very easy. I’m not super handy but I put it together by myself in about 20 minutes. Everything was clearly labeled and the screws were even grouped by step, which I really appreciated. This chair is a game-changer for me, overall it combine all the goods from my other chairs, cool and having a armrest, can rocking and even have a back holder. It’s stylish, functional, and very comfortable — and for the price, I don’t think you’ll find anything better. Read more
