The BESTFAIR Ergonomic Office Chair is a solid basic chair at a good price (it’s currently on sale at 30% off) when I ordered this chair. From the ground up: - Five caster wheels make for smooth rolling and moving about in any direction. - There is good height adjustment and a good range of adjustment. I work at a dining room table which requires a higher seat height than most desks. This chair accommodates that need. - The padded arms are comfortable. They can be moved out of the way if preferred. - The mesh seat allows airflow, and at nearly 20 inches is wide enough for a “broad beam”. The padded seat is very comfortable. - The back has a wides mesh covering allowing airflow. It has an S-shape to fit the spine’s shape when sitting. There is adjustable lumbar support and the ability to control the amount of backward movement of the backrest. I wish the lumbar support went up about two or three inches higher. I’m 5’4” so my height isn’t the issue. - No neck support is included. I do miss that. When I’m spending 8-plus hours sitting I like to be able to occasionally lean my head back into a headrest to relax the neck muscles. My son put the chair together for me in about 10 minutes. He said the instructions are good, the assembly was pretty intuitive and simple. He appreciated that the needed parts, pieces, and tools were included. It was simple enough he said that I would have no trouble assembling it myself. Overall this is a good basic chair and at its current sale price is where I feel it should be for what it’s worth. It’s comfortable, well designed and sturdy. For the 40 hour a week office worker it should provide at least a couple years of comfortable desk time. Read more

This chair requires assembly, and I completed building the chair in well under 30 minutes while chatting with family. All parts and tools are included, and the instructions are helpful. I like the adjustment options: height, height and firmness of lumbar support. The lumbar fitness doesn't change much, but the other two are noticeable. Due to the adjustable height, this chair is helpful for multiple desk heights. I'm 5'7", and when the chair is at its highest, my feet are 3" off the ground! The seat has thick cushioning, and the mesh backrest is very comfortable. I also appreciate being able to move the arm rests out of the way if I prefer using the chair without them. Overall the chair seems like it will be a good functioning chair and is a good value for the money. Most chairs in this price range don't have so many adjustable options, and I value the flexibility. I prefer having a way to adjust the tilt of the backrest, though. When I rest on it, my body is at a 120° angle, and it produces neck strain over time since my head, shoulders, and pelvis aren't stacked vertically. I work partly from home, and in order to sit for long hours, I have to lean away from the back rest. Still, I would recommend this chair as a good option in the price range. Read more
