We looked at a lot of listings for floor mats before deciding on this one, and we are VERY happy with it. Didn't want one of the flimsy ones that arrive rolled up. This one is heavy duty, very clear, the perfect size for what we wanted, doesn't move around when walked on and is just the right thickness so no one trips over it. But we didn't buy these for an office chair to roll over. We have hardwood floors, and one of our little darlings uses a pee pad. Well, she started peeing on the edge of the pee pad so was getting half of her pee on our hardwood floor and ruining it. So I got the brilliant idea to put one of these under her pee pads, and it solved the problem completely. Easy to clean up when she misses the pee pad. Liked the look and utility of this floor mat so well that we bought one for next to the sliding glass door that leads out to our backyard because people are always walking in with dirty shoes. I noticed some people report slipping on carpet. I have low pile carpet (somewhat worn) and I couldn't get it to slip. So maybe it depends on what your carpet is made. I've ordered three office chair mats in the last 5 years. This is the first one to come shipped flat. What a Godsend! My other mats were shipped rolled up - and thankfully it was summer so I put it out in the sun for a few days to get it to lie flat. Amendment - This mat does slip. Not when I placed my foot on the mat and pushed - but when the office chair bumps the edge getting the chair back on the mat. So every few days I noticed the mat has moved about 2 inches. Maybe getting a larger mat would help that. Still a good mat but not as perfect as I described. Read more

Had this a few weeks. Using on thicker carpet. positioned longways from the desk. My desk and printer are close, so I don't roll too far, just forward and reverse. I like the thickness , wheels do not sink in. So far i am satisfied with the product. Read more

It did come flat, as advertised, although it did take 3 days longer to get to me than was stated. The thickness quality seems to be adequate, but it has already scratched up pretty good as the wheels of my chair do not spin while on this mat. I wasn't sure if it was due to the mat or the chair so I tried it on my tile floor and the wheels worked just fine, so I know it is the mat. Finally, if you put it on carpet, it doesn't matter how much weight is on the mat, the mat slides all over the place and kind of drives me nuts. Read more
