UPDATE: The next day I did what the instructions actually said to try. I soaked it in a hot tub of water. That did the trick. Un-rolled much easier and was able to place where needed. Place heavy items where needed to flatten for several hours. It is working fine. Has very minor ripples that I'm sure will flatten out. There are indents from the wheels of my office chair, but in comparison of what is out there for a much high price, I am happy with purchase. OK...this thing came so rolled up and it's just me. After breaking into a sweat, drawing blood from the spikey things...I stopped and am now staring at it mentally willing it to loosen up. I appears it will be a great mat once I can get it flat enough to manage. I will try the hair dryer once I can breathe again. Read more

I ordered 2 of these mats. They come folded in half. I needed one right away and used a hair dryer to warm it to speed up unfolding and it worked perfectly. I left the second one warm up for a day before unfolding it. After unfolding, I left it sit for another day - unfortunately it cracked along the fold line. Otherwise, they seem like quality mats. It works great and stays in place. It’s perfect quality, pretty thick and tough. It’s easy to roll when not sitting in the chair for long. I think cuz my boyfriends chair is so heavy it sinks in and it’s harder to move while sitting in the chair. Read more
