I am impressed with this projector. I was looking for a smaller projector to use as we travel in our camper van and this one works perfectly. The picture is bright and clear. The auto focus and screen adjustments are very easy. The remote is easy to use. I was able to setup the internet connection and Netflix, Prime and Youtube in a few minutes. The sound is usable but it works even better when connected to a good bluetooth speaker and I did not notice any audio delay. Received mine yesterday and oh my goodness if this isn’t the best projector I’ve purchased so far. I’ve had 3 other ones and this one hands down has the best picture quality. This is the 1st projector that only needs to be plugged in and is ready to go without a bunch of other cords for a firestick or external speakers. The audio on this thing is amazing. No need for an external speaker unless you prefer it. User friendly and set up took less than a few minutes. No issues with connecting to the internet and all of my streaming apps are available for download. Downloaded HBO Max with ease. WOW amazing projector for the price, I love the apps that are pre installed. They have 4k quality, no need for setting up any additional devices, minus game consoles of course but every streaming service needed can be installed! Great volume I thought I would need to buy a speaker to connect, I still might for a true theater set up but even in the day time the quality is not lost with the lights on it gets a tad bit lighter but overall still impressive. Black out curtains on the way but here are several photos in various lights lights completely out, room lamp on room light on and in the day time with the curtains closed. Due to the low lumens I was concerned about my gray projector screen, but it still gets the job done. I love it! The auto zoom is amazing, and being able to focus with the buttons on the controller is awesome as well, also shout out to the digital zoom to allow the projection to fit perfectly on my screen. So I love the option of having this movie theater experience in my living room. In fact, I hosted the Super Bowl with it, I watch movies nightly with my children with it, it’s impressed everyone who’s come into my home. It is not without its flaws, however. As a device with smart abilities and apps (all of the apps are on this device), I wouldn’t recommend running more than two of those streaming apps on this device directly. There isn’t enough memory to play with and eventually your experience will be dulled by freezing, skipping, and sound lapses. I’ve had to factory reset it once in the last three months, as I had installed everything and they constantly run and refresh in the background—not great for this device. Visually, it leaves nothing to be desired; it’s sickening how well this can focus, adjust to your blank space, and center itself. Mine is current perched on a shelf that is admittedly not the most stable—and yet, even in the middle of a showing, it can adjust to the 12’ wide wall, and focus just as crisply as it were an actual tv in my opinion. The resolution is delicious. I have this connected to my WiFi, which was effortless, and I reached no hiccups until I got overzealous and sprung a sound system into the mix. It HAS connected to this pricey Samsung system, however, sometimes there is a delay between this visual and the sound, and it took me an hour to ensure that connection thoroughly, as the device will say it’s connected and in fact not actually be. Best advice, keep connecting and it will eventually work. Patience is a virtue here. Overall, for a light, responsibly priced, introduction to projectors, this is stunning work. I hope to buy one a little higher in the price bracket someday as I genuinely enjoy this idea and want to see it more “finely tuned,” if that makes any sense. The media could not be loaded. Thank godness! HDCP and projectors are a pain to figure out. For those who dont know what HDCP is and why they go hand in hand with projectors, let me explain. Do you like to cast your movies, animes, or series from your 3rd party websites? Well HDCP says no you cant and its not just 3rd party websites, stuff like netflix, hulu and hbo can sometimes be denied to cast to a projector. Not every projector has those apps, so you'll see in small fine detail that they recommend you get a roku or a amazon fire tv stick to pair with your projector especially if they dont have those apps pre-built within. This projector however doesnt have that issue. I can watch my favorite animes, series shows and movies from any site using smart view from my galaxy phone. Just remember to select "MediaCast" not TVSharing. Picture quality is amazing, its super bright even in mid dim light areas. It also handles very well in RGB lighting. Quality handled well in blue light the best, follow by dark color lights. Oh and compared to other projectors ive tried its also much more quiter. Its audio isnt high end but its sufficient enough for small end rooms with the option to add a soundbar/bluetooth connections for better audio It does allow it to be mounted to a tripod. Just wish it can be angled while mounted need a different mount if you wana angle it , for example, to the ceiling for your bed But you dont need to mount it, works well for walls without it. Otherwise this is the best value / non issue HDCP projector i can find on amazon. Dont waste time if your interested in casting from 3rd party sites or mobile gaming. Its easy to stream once your learn what to do plus you still have you streaming apps prebuilt within. Great value. Read more
