Definitely some assembly required but the parts are well marked and instructions are clear. Great good sized desk and the height adjusting is quick and easy. Advice: after assembly go to Home Depot and get a sheet of glass to put over the top of it to make it look fancy. Read more

I was skeptical about buying this desk. I also didn’t want a desk I had to assemble. However, I took my time, laid out each piece in alphabetical order and read the instructions step-by-step. I'm a 5 foot 1 woman and I was a little worried about putting this together on my own, but really should not have been. I laid out all the pieces in alphabetical order and followed the page by page instructions easily. Would definitely recommend having a socket wrench on hand to tighten the longer screws that go into the particle board towards the end. Otherwise everything else needed is provided with the order. Took me about 5.5 hours to leisurely put it together by myself. Works very well- smooth movement and not loud. Memory buttons are amazing. Where to start… This is the easiest piece of furniture to assemble that I’ve purchased from anywhere that wasn’t pre-assembled. Honestly the directions are so good that you have to want to put it together wrong to actually get it wrong! The person/people that wrote the assembly directions should get a huge raise and then train everyone else everywhere else on how to do instructions! The desk is sturdy, clean, height adjustment moves nearly silently and with ease, and it looks amazing even in a small in a small space. It’s perfect! Value for the money couldn’t be better, it’s worth every cent I if I were to buy another, I wouldn’t mind paying more, it’s that good! The keyboard tray is perfect even for a large, full-size gaming keyboard. My only complaint, and this is a very personal preference, is that the keyboard tray while perfect for a large keyboard does not work as a mouse surface too. You have to use the top of the desk or use a mini keyboard. Again this does not detract from how happy I am I spent the money on this, I couldn’t be much happier with the $140 purchase for the incredible ease it goes together (took me about 90 minutes by myself - there are a lot of parts!) and the overall quality of it. I absolutely Love this desk!! 1000%. I was so intimidated by the amount of parts that were included with the set, but what I did was unpack everything to make sure all the pieces were there, then I assembled them on my floor and left it alone for a couple of days. Two days later I said okay, let’s tackle this, even though it seems intimidating. I took my time, one instruction at a time, and I was able to put it together.
