My contacts have never felt better. I was using all in one solution and, for some reason, it started burning my eyes after soaking for 9-10 hours. I transfer them to this case with saline and turn it on for 3 minutes and the problem is solved. Not only do my eyes not burn anymore, my contacts feel new every time I put them in! I have used his every day for a month and the battery is still going strong. This is something I never knew I needed! Updated a/o 10/14/2025 - I purchased this on August 7th and it was delivered the next day. I just charged the battery yesterday and I have used it every day since receiving. I use the 3 minute function during the week and the 10 minute function on the weekend. I am still very happy with this purchase and shocked at the battery life. Read more

Gets lenses really clean! Slightly difficult to open. Luckily, I have fingernails, so not a huge issue. Read more

Asked my optometrist if this was a good idea. She thought it couldn’t hurt so give it a try. I do my regular cleaning then use the device. Contacts are thirty day replacements and so far they feel and look very clean like first day clean even though it’s been much longer. Will continue to use it as an auxiliary cleaning method. I really like this contact lens cleaner. Kind of looks like a big shell which I'm not really a super huge fan of but it is what it is. It gets the job done and gets a contacts clean. This thing also comes with a bunch of contact ones holders also so you can actually store a bunch of them and take them with you and bring the contact lens cleaner with the unchanged amount as need be. I like how this has the little tools to pick up the contacts and install them into your eyes which I thought was a neat little addition. This thing is super straightforward though you basically just charge up the case with the USBC and you just pop the contact case in there with the contacts in them after you pop them out at the end of the night and when you have your solution in there and you turn it on it basically just vibrates them almost like a cleaner for jewelry almost and as it vibrates it basically cleans off all the dirt and grime and whatever else gets on them from taking them in and out of your eyes. I really like to extend the use of my contacts as long as possible so I thought that this was definitely a little bit better than just popping them in and out of the case. For years and years I've actually just used just a regular contact lens holder and pop them out at the end of the day and pop them in in the morning and I usually get quite a number of days just like that but I thought having the addition of cleaning them well maybe possibly last them longer and keep them comfortable before I have to change them out which who doesn't like to save money in this day and age. Overall the durability and size of this thing is very compact and made out of very good materials it's very affordable and a good value for the money so I highly recommend it Read more

I've been using the old model for years before upgrading, and there's a lot to like about this upgrade. First of all, I wear 30-day soft lenses. I was always diligent about cleaning them every night--taking them out into my palm with some saline and giving them a gentle rub. By day 20, my eyes were always irritated and by day 30, I couldn't wait to swap them out. Putting in new lenses was glorious. Then the ultrasonic cleaner comes along. Lenses come out, go right into the case with saline, go into the clamshell cleaner. I now wear my lenses for 60 days and day 60 feels almost the same as day 1. Lenses always feel clean and since I handle them very little, I don't have issues from dropping them or ripping a lens trying to clean it. I've noticed that my eyes don't feel as dry, either. The new cleaner has some benefits but 1 minor drawback. My issue with this design is simple: The lip to open the clamshell case is so small I need to fit my fingernail in to grab it. It's just not simple to open. It's also a little bigger than the old one. But, when compared to the benefits, I will gladly take these two inconveniences. First is USB-C charging. Hooray! The old-style were USB-micro. Second is the battery display: Seeing a battery meter means I never run out of juice. The old model got recharded on the 1st of the month and that was enough juice to get me through the month, but I never knew if it was nearing empty. In addition to the battery display, there's a countdown timer. I like being able to see how long it's run. Third is two cycles: The old one had two cycles, but they were the same: 2 minutes or 5 minutes. This has a 2-minute daily clean (seems the same as before) and a 10-minute deep clean. Rather than just running for 10 minutes, the power seems to fluctuate, so the ultrasonic buzzing waxes and waines as it powers up and down. My lenses were starting to feel a little dirty (happens in winter when I'm inside all day) and 1 10-minute clean got them like new. Lastly is the power button. The old one has a button that you press. This isn't a mechanical button. To turn on, put your finger on it and wait 2 seconds. Then touch again to advance to 10 seconds. Third touchback to 2. Fourth to turn off. Or long touch to turn off. Of the old style, I had two of the same model. I found that the noise of the ultrasonic cleaner gradually gets louder over time, and after 3 years of daily use, I replaced one. The second I've been using for about 18 months now and while it's gotten a little louder, it still works great and will become my travel device. Whether this unit gets louder over time has yet to be seen. It's not horrible, at it's worst, it's about as loud as an electric toothbrush. If you're curious, leave the case lid off when you turn it on, and you'll see the wave patterns in the saline solution associated with ultrasonic cleaners. Super happy with this device. A good upgrade. Just wish it had a more pronounced lip to make opening it easier. Read more

Don't really notice any difference between using this, and just cleaning them the regular way or using clear care plus. Seems weak andnover priced. You could probably strap a contact lens container to any form of a vibratory and turn it on and you'd get the same result. Seems over priced too for what it is Read more
