Feels great on my scalp!
I love mint & tea tree scents, so the fragrance doesn't bother me at all. It does help my dandruff, which I use this in conjunction with my prescribed shampoo (2% ketoconazole), but I don't think it would completely "cure" the issue on its own. It makes my whole scalp feel nice, cool, and tingly. The sensation does spread down my back when I'm rinsing my hair as well, which is very pleasant, especially now that summer is upon us (NJ can get very hot & humid sometimes). I haven't experienced any burning when my scalp is irritated either, and it doesn't exacerbate my seborrheic dermatitis, which is great since it's mostly caused by an imbalance of yeast on the skin/fungi (for those that don't know, prescription ketoconazole/OTC Nizoral is an antifungal medication). My hair also smells pleasant after I take a shower; my SO approves, lol. It doesn't feel or seem like it dries my hair out with use either. My hair is thick, coarse, long, and color treated (I'm Asian if that helps you picture the hair texture better). I also LOVE that it has NO sulfates, which is one of the main causes of dry hair/scalps and irritation from shampoos. The conditioner does feel a bit light, but you also don't want it to be heavy if you have scalp issues. It doesn't make my hair feel weighed down or greasy after use, and my scalp isn't dry after as well. I'd recommend this to people to try as a supplement to other dandruff shampoos, or if anyone is fond of tea tree & minty scents. However, everyone is different so if you experience any negative reactions when using any of the products, stop immediately. Don't try and "tough it out" because you might make it even worse. Good luck! Read more
