LOVE this shampoo. HATE that the manufacturer has decided to stop making it! It is the best shampoo for my very light blonde, aging, fine hair. It brightens it, and helps keep it soft and very very shiny. I like that it has very little scent. I also like the thicker texture so I don't have to worry about it running off my hand before I get it to my hair! I do use conditioner after as I don't expect any shampoo to do a conditioners job and make my extra long hair easily comb-able. Read more

I'm thoroughly pleased with the fragrance. Price is acceptable. My hair is smooth and shiny. My hair has never been this soft and shiny. You know how you can run your fingers through your hair and it falls back into place? Well, that's a good hair cut too. I wash, rinse, and repeat. I wash my hair daily therefore don't know how long my hair would stay smooth and shiny. I've been on a mission to keep my life calm through yoga, meditation, and pilates. I use lavender candles for a calming effect. Use lavender lotions and lavender moisturizing soap, and before bed I read and drink a cup of lavender tea. I've been using some lavender products for a couple of years and have added more lavender with time. I go through my routines like shampooing my hair ~ wash, rinse, and repeat each and every day. This is an absolutely amazing shampoo. I have used it for years. It is the only shampoo I have found that brightened my very light blond highlights without depositing heavy pigment on it like other "purple" shampoos. Even better, my husband started using it on his hair and closely trimmed beard. Immediately, his hair and beard (which is almost completely white) brightened. The white in his hair and beard brighted. Even he noticed it. UNFORTUNATELY, the manufacturer, in their infinite wisdom, has decided to DISCONTINUE this product. They advised me to try their Color Vibes Shampoo. It definitely does not have the same brightening effect on my highlights and my husband's hair and beard. This is the best price I have found on the available supplies of this shampoo. The manufacturer said they have no more in their warehouse. I ticked up. First the product came with a broken lid and some of the shampoo was all over the clear wrap it came in ! Other then that mess it is pretty good for the price, and it smells nice. don’t really notice any sufficient difference in hair when I use it . Probably won’t buy again. Read more

My favorite shampoo. The only problem I had was this shipper put tape over the top to avoid leaking. It didn’t work. Helped it not to spread to other items in the shipment, but loss of some product and the bottle was a sticky mess. Read more

I used just a little of this shampoo just once and lost all of my beautiful natural white and silver highlights. I bought it bc I had stupidly used an old shampoo on my natural gray hair (that had once worked well when it was colored brown) for a few weeks when I ran out of my usual shampoo. After a few washings, it was turning my white and silver a bit yellowish, and all of my previously glossy hair became very dull. I thought this shampoo would address these two problems, and it did. BUT, it also took away my highlights! After just one shampooing, the soft white (albeit, turned yellowish) streaks that used to frame my face turned gray. In fact, ALL of my silver, white and shades of gray hair turned into a monotone gray color - shiney and with not a hint of yellow, but boring to me! It is also coarser now, although my hair has always been very soft and silky. Color really matters to us women, right? When I look in the mirror now, I see an "old woman" even though I feel young! When I had all my natural highlights and gray color variations, I saw an energetic, younger woman. I truly HATE my hair color now, but I will not go back to dying it at my age. I believe I can remove whatever coloring this shampoo put on my hair by using .25 tsp of baking soda mixed with another, color-safe shampoo. This worked before over many weeks to gradually remove light brown coloring to reveal my natural gray. I just hope that pale yellowish "tint" doesn't return when I do this! :) And, of course, I'll need to try and find another shampoo, one that will maintain my natural color, assuming I can get it back. This one failed at that, but I still give it 3 stars bc it did at least remove (or color over?) the yellowish tint another shampoo gave my hair, and it did make it shiney again. If you have highlights you want to keep, though, I would NOT recommend this shampoo. Read more
