Oh Yuk Tub and Tile Cleaner Combo Pack with Spray and Concentrate Refill Cleans Tubs Tiles and Shower

I use other products from Oh Yuk and they have all worked well for me. This tub and tile cleaner has the same high quality and effective cleaning I expect. It sprays on easily and handles soap residue and general buildup without much effort. My tub and shower walls looked clean after a simple wipe down. The combo pack adds good value. The concentrate refill makes for easily extending the use of the product. This is another dependable cleaner from Oh Yuk that performs as I expected. I used the Oh Yuk Tub & Tile Cleaner for the first time today and am mostly impressed. Our shower has a fiberglass floor, two glass walls, and two dark gray (almost black) tile walls. We had really hard water for about 7 years prior to finally installing a water softener last year, and our water has a high iron content, as well. I usually have to apply multiple products just to somewhat poorly remove the usual stubborn, cloudy soap scum from the glass walls, so I have to admit I wasn't the most optimistic for the outcome. I misted this all over each shower wall this morning and let it sit for a few hours, then re-sprayed a bit before I got to scrubbing it. I used a cleaning brush to scrub all the walls/glass then rinsed everything well. The glass turned out fantastic! I honestly don't think I've ever been able to get it this clear and residue-free. The tile and fiberglass improvements weren't as remarkable, but I think that's primarily due to years of hard water/hair dye on a white fiberglass floor, and I've never found anything that effectively removes the white residue on our tile. I may try the Oh Yuk Deep Shower Cleaner to see if that's more effective on these problem areas. This set comes with a ready-to-use bottle of cleaner, a sprayer attachment (a really hefty, durable sprayer that lays down a wide, generous layer of product), as well as a bottle of cleaner concentrate that you use to refill the larger bottle. Only 4 oz of the concentrate is needed for the refill and water is added to fill the remainder, so the concentrate bottle provides 4 additional full-size bottle refills. Genius! This product does not have a particular scent; whatever scent it does have is non-descript and just smells like an unscented or fragrance-free cleaning product. Bonus - these are cruelty-free products. Although the price initially seems a bit steep, if you consider you're getting 5 full-size bottles for the cost, it's a great value! I've used a number of Oh Yuk products and have been very pleased with all of them, so when I saw they'd released a Tub and Tile Cleaner I thought I'd give it a shot! The "kit" came with a ready-to-use full spray bottle and also a smaller bottle of concentrate for making more as well. The sprayer is actually quite nice and delivers a good amount per squeeze with a fine mist output. Our tile shower is a magnet for soap scum and hard water stains so I was absolutely thrilled to see how well this product worked to remove it from the walls! I sprayed it on, waited a few minutes and then rinsed it off with a strong stream of water and it did a great job. On top of that the smell is much lighter than some of the other products of this type I've tried. All in all I'm very pleased and will likely purchase it again in the future. Read more

A fine cleaner, but nothing extraordinary. It has a strong chemical smell, so though I appreciate the refill, I won’t end up using more of this as there are other cleaners that clean equally or superiorly which do not emit such strong chemical smells. This might be perfect for some folks as it does seem to be a good value and does clean sufficiently, it’s just not going to be for me as the smell is overwhelming and the cleaning power is not. Since this is advertised as a "jetted tub cleaner", that goes to say that it works well for hot tubs as well. Just keep in mind, you probably only want to use this to clean a fully drained hot tub. I doubt it is healthy for your hot tub to let any of this cleaner sit in actively running hot tub water for extended periods of time. Read more

This stuff works great! You just spray, make sure the room is well ventilated or you will choke yourself. Let it sit for a few minutes and come back and the scum and dirt just wipes right off. You don't have to put elbow grease into cleaning anymore. I use it everywhere in my bathroom shower. The tub, the wall, the shower head and faucets. It makes cleaning much faster and efficient. The smell is pleasant but don't try to inhale too deep because it will tickle the mess out your throat and you'll find yourself almost coughing up a lung, or maybe its just me. I would say this is a good cleaner for in-between deep cleanings. It makes the surfaces look and feel pretty clean but it struggled to tackle tough caulk stains... I had to break out another cleaner for that. It did get the porcelain tub very clean but it also left the surface a bit more slippery than my other cleaners have. The smell is very nice and natural, no overpowering, abrasive smells or added fragrances. The price seems high, but the concentrate makes a lot of cleaner. The spray bottle included was not my favorite for arthritic hands... it pumps a bit too firmly for big jobs. Read more
