These scales are secretly made by Mettler they may or may not share the same internals with some models. The weight I used is a certified 1lb weight for commercial grade calibration. It tested 1lb exactly and I believe it would have showed more accuracy if it did not round the grams the exact scientific 1lb conversion is 453.59237 grams the scale showed 454 which I can assume it rounded up. Make sure you buy a calibration weight set to check your balance! My measurements were completely inaccurate and didn't match known weights. Repeated measurements of the same weights gave completely different values each time, so it's not like the balance is precise but incorrectly calibrated with poor accuracy. OHAUS is usually a quality vendor but this product is completely unusable so I returned it immediately. Read more
