As an apartment renter, I thought I would have to basically give up my love for gardening. I have 0 ground space but I do have a really wide back porch. As soon as I saw this I was hopeful. It was super easy to put together! It keeps my plants warm because I live in Massachusetts and May can be really cold on some days and nights and hot on others. My seedling and plants are THRIVING! The soil stays moist for days and it keeps a nice consistent warm temperature in there for them and just enough sunlight in that it doesn’t cook them but takes advantage of the one spot of sunlight I have. I love it so much that my husband instantly bought me the much larger $90 walk in one. It’s amazing to have home-grown herbs and veggies on my porch! I’ve been a long time consistent purchaser of Ohuhu products- namely their art supplies. I’ve always loved them. I saw a name I knew I could actually trust. My greenhouse was missing 2 small support rods. I didn’t return it- I emailed Ohuhu support and they were super helpful and polite. They immediately sent me out the support rod replacements. They followed the tracking and as soon as they were delivered they sent me a follow up email to make sure they had arrived and that they were correct size. I couldn’t be more pleased with the greenhouse itself and with their customer service. I don’t get a lot of wind but I did use some mini bungee cords to just hold it down to the porch railing but I do think it’s stable so long as it’s on flat ground. I couldn’t recommend this more highly honestly. I’d rate 100 stars if I could. Read more
Set up was easy. It did come with a small 4in tear where the zipper connects to the front vinyl panel. I just added heavy duty tape and sewed it back together. Works great now. Holds all my seedlings and supplies. Mine is indoors though. Not sure how it would hold up outside with wind. Read more
I put it together in 16 minutes, while eating dinner. There are no instructions, just a picture of the final tent. I chose to do it bottom up. I made all the shelves and then I made sides. Then I I put on the triangular parts. It took me=e 5 minutes to unfold the plastic cover. I didn’t panic, I just put unfolded slowerly. I fit it over the top, realized there were some ties, so I tied them to the structure, and zipped it down. Plastic top was strong and durable. The plastic tray bottoms are plenty strong enough. I put my trays in and walked away. Bravo! Great product. Read more
Absolutely perfect. Although this greenhouse came with zero instructions on how to put it together, it was so easy. How easy? I was able to put this together with my 4yo in under 10 minutes. If you’ve ever tried to do anything with the toddler this should speak volumes. Currently it is being used indoors, so I am unable to speak to it’s weather durability. However I do feel like it could be blown over in a good breeze, the cover is nice and thick, not flimsy at all. Read more
A greenhouse for 50 bucks and it is fairly sturdy. I would not have bought a green house if it was more expensive. Easy to assemble. I use plastic Tie-Wraps every where. The wire shelves can be tie wraped to the metal/plastic frame This took lots of time but the difference is remarkable. The shelf poles can't come out now as others mention it has happen. I then but in the corner of my balcony surrounced on two sides with poarch railings. Used six more tie-wraps secured it to the porch railings. It is very secure and doesn't move in any direction. The plastic is survived a tempory hail storm... for the price I am very greatful. Some say the cover was not thight that was never a problem. The fact that the frame and the shelves are made of metal makes this worth while. They are not making a lot of profit so I am thankful. Read more
I'm having to bend the shelves into shape or the clips won't hold. The manufacturer was a cheapskate and only included 2 clips per shelf--not nearly enough, especially if you're dealing with warped wire shelves. If I didn't bend the shelves back into shape, the clips would just pop right off--they're really not strong enough to hold the shelves in place with only 2 per shelf. The manufacturer should really include at least 6 clips per shelf, so a minimum of 24 clips, since there are 4 shelves. Also, I'm concerned that even with the clips, the shelves aren't going to hold heavy pots. I'm going to keep the little greenhouse, but I'm going to have to use baling wire to fasten the shelves down securely, and I'm going to have to fasten the entire shelf to a wall to prevent my pets from knocking it over. I don't have small kids, but if you do, I highly recommend using some brackets to secure the greenhouse to a wall, or a young child could be severely injured if the greenhouse and heavy pots came down on top of the child. I actually did not expect this, "tiny greenhouse" to have much Quality when I ordered it. Wow, how surprised was I after I put it together. Assembly was a breeze. It was just so Easy to put together. I had also worried about the wind blowing it over. And live in Southeast New Mexico, and the wind here gets vicious sometimes. However, once I had assembled it and loaded on my plants, I realize the year weight of the plants would keep it steady and in one place. Clear plastic cover, and the zippers on the door, are also of high-quality. I am so completely satisfied with this tiny greenhouse, because now, I won't lose all my plans to the frost. We've already had three different days below freezing temperatures, and my plants are just fine. I wish I had gotten a bigger one. I can see Into the future that perhaps next winter, I will have a second, "tiny greenhouse," for my plants. 🪴 I could not be happier! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Read more
