There were so many giggles with this Granny costume

This granny costume was so fun for the 100th day of school! We certainly had some giggles and while it was fun, I couldn't give it a complete full star review. Here's the breakdown: Pro's: -the dress, lace sweater and socks were spot on, but a little thin for our cold climate. We layered to make it warmer, but the print and colors screamed old lady. The quality was better than I expected. -while the cane is thin plastic and comes in 3 pieces that you twist into place. This worked out great for us because it wasn't heavy for our daughter to lug around all day and I can break it back down to fit into our dress-up bin nicely -the pearl earrings and necklace were SO nice! The quality was almost shocking. They have some weight to them and the rubber backs on the earrings made it comfortable for her to wear them all day -the wig was the star of the show! The wig itself was great and well-made. The hair didn't even have to be touched up because it was packaged with the hair net helping keep it together. Cons: - you can see in the pictures that the little granny purse broke. It broke within 3 minutes of being out of the package. Fortunately, I can sew it back on, but it didn't make it to school with her. - the hair net was so thin and cheap. It split so quickly. It felt like it was made out of the cheap spider webbing you can pull apart to decorate for Halloween. -the aging stickers were not great. I would have appreciated a guide to know where to even put them firstly, and secondly, they seemed too big for a child's face. We ended up going without them. All-in-all, this was still a win for us and helped us make a fantastic memory. I would buy it again. Read more
