This is definitely on the pricier side when it comes to men's "generic" brand deodorant, but I can say without any doubt this is the best deodorant I have used thus far. The scent (cashmere + vanilla wood) is very different than the "sport" style scents everyone has these days. I pair this with coach black cologne and have gotten non stop compliments from both sexes as the two work together. I do not need to reapply and it lasts all day even as an automotive technician that gets hot and sweaty. I like it, Smells Like heavy Fruit Loops cereal for me. Something about the deep bitter citrus and kinda odd wood smell makes it kinda sweet too in some weird olfactory sense. I don't recommend it for everyone but I ain't "everyone". But if you like it, you like it. I like it as is for how long it exists. Now the details... It's length and longevity is persistent. It takes times for it to actually fade away and when I shower it's there. Day to day it lasts a day's worth on my skin. No irritation so far neither. Skin is good and not sticky or reacting to anything aluminum related so far, so I assume it's not there. I bought it for the smell, not the effects. It works well so far for me and how I use it. I haven't checked anything internally about chemical compositions or aluminum contents so I don't know about that. All I know I haven't reacted bad to anything for 2 days now by it's usage. The deodorant had a really nice smell to it. Went on a little thick and I noticed it would stick to your undershirt at the end of the day. It did keep the odor away as promised. It's a good deodorant I just don't think it's worth $14 when the classic Old splash deodorant is $3. Read more
Old spice aluminum free deodorant has a very pleasant scent of vanilla and cashmere. The deodorant goes on very smooth under the arm. Doesn't clunk up it doesn't leave any traces on your tshirts. I haven't noticed any irritation. Sometimes aluminum-free deodorants can be very tricky. Some of them don't last through half a day, but surprisingly this this Old spice stands up at least 8 to 10 hours . Very reasonably priced deodorant stick. With a very pleasant scent. It goes on a tiny bit sticky but gets better really quick, the smell really stays for a long time in a good way. It is a very nature smell but not mature like something your grandpa would wear! It's very sophisticated, I'm rocking this as a woman but it is very much masculine though some feminine people can pull it off too. No skin irritation, texture is fine and it works. No staining. Smells good, but its a powder, so it gets into your clothing. The scent doesn't last either. Maybe 2 hrs. It does reduce sweating a little. But the powdery stick wears down quickly, and doesnt feel like it's going onto the skin. Prefer clear gel sticks. Last longer, cleaner, stronger, doesn't stain...not this one! Read more
I use deodorant, but not antiperspirant, so this is perfect for me. I don't care that it says for men, it's also good for me. Love the scent, not sticky, no aluminum, lasts all day, doesn't irritate my delicate underarm area and doesn't stain my clothes. My favorite aluminum free so far and I've tried quite a few. Read more
Worked well enough for me at first, the scent wasn’t over powering and it lasted long enough. Unfortunately, for me it caused my skin to get irritated. I’ve used other Old Spice deodorants that work really well for me, but this one caused me to have a pretty nasty flare up and break out. I am a little bit disappointed, but it’s not necessarily fault of the product since I have HS and sensitive skin already. Beware if you have any skin conditions or sensitive skin in general.
