I really wanted to love this deodorant because it is aluminum free. I have to using it my armpits got irritated and are very itchy. I took a shower and washed off a deodorant and it is still itchy. Guess I'm going back to my Right Guard gel deodorant which is not aluminum free. I can't speak for the protection of this deodorant because I really didn't have time to test it.
