Let’s just cut right to it: My husband and I loved it immediately, and it is only getting better as the hours pass! Considering it’s pretty expensive for one stick of deodorant, we were really hesitant, but we are extremely glad we took the chance. Here are our thoughts: PROS: - The “ABSORBS SWEAT” quality to this is what sets it apart from all other deodorants and antiperspirants (tapioca starch: effective yet gentle dryness). The addition of the starch makes this deodorant feel far more comfortable on the skin. -Excellent for people with sensitive skin, which my husband definitely struggles with -Smells masculine, warm, not too musky, not too fruity, and my husband rates it above all other deodorant scents he has tried. As the woman who has to smell him everyday, I completely agree it’s a perfect masculine scent -As you warm up as sweat, you can smell the deodorant more! I love that it doesn’t just smell like it’s layering itself over body odor, it seems to genuinely PREVENT odor -A little goes a long way! My husband erred on the side of caution on his first application and only did two small swipes under each armpit, but the deodorant still did its job -Having the deodorant in stick form means it’s really easy to apply, carry with you, and reapply if necessary -I love that it glides on like a gel, feels a bit powdery to the touch, and dries down comfortably CONS -Only this scent and the Black Cherry Bourbon scent come with the sweat absorbing quality, which is extremely disappointing. The other Total Body deodorant scents feel greasy on the skin, so they’re not even close to the same. -It’s expensive, but I do believe it’s overall quality makes it worth the price! If Old Spice made this in scents I would wear, like Wilderness or Fiji, we would be buying twice as many sticks! If you’re on the fence, take the leap and give it a try. You won’t be disappointed! This deodorant actually works. I’m tired of sticks that smell good but don’t hold up when life gets real. Old Spice Mandarin + Sandalwood gets it done without aluminum, which matters if you care about that sort of thing. Smell is good without being overpowering.
