The tool just needs a spacer. I made one with folded cardboard to sit the band in line with the push pin on the tool. I damaged one of the links I took off but learned from it and made this adjustment. The watch got me compliments on day one. I picked it over watches 3 times the price. My watch arrived yesterday. To unpack it and get it set up was a royal pain in the ... This watch disappointed me immediately. The band is very skinny, feminine was my first thought. It feels very chintzy, and I'm now contemplating returning it. Everything about it screams Chinese garbage. I simply don't have even one good thing to say about this piece of trash, except do not buy one of these, as you too will be equally disappointed as I am. Yup, it's going back. This is an aesthetically beautiful wristwatch. The overall build quality is outstanding, and the value for the styling and build quality is exceptional. The area where I would "ding" it a bit is the "clasp", which to be honest was a bit difficult for me to figure out. To be fair, I don't usually wear "dress" watches like this, I'm used to wearing Timex style sport watches. That being said, everybody needs something a bit "dressier" for more formal occasions, and this watch fits that bill and more. It's more than a watch, it is a "conversation piece".
