Warning: NSFW I bought this item, which we’ve affectionately dubbed “the alien” and/or “Skeeter’s nose,” because I wanted to send my girlfriend “to the moon.” And while she very much ended up “seeing stars” four or five times over 36 hours during my birthday weekend, I want to take a moment to discuss how the alien has also helped address my neck/shoulder pain. Since we’ve only had for a week, I can’t comment on the battery life. To start, as soon as you turn it on it’s starts at maximum vibration. There’s only one button, as you click it it will go down, but the only way to get it back up is to go through alll the settings example: if you’re using vibration 5, and want to go to 4, you have to endure 6,7,8,7,6,5 to get to 4. Also, it’s got a TWENTY MINUTE battery life! So you have to rush to get the job done, otherwise when it dies, you’ll be waiting. You can’t use it while it’s on the charger. UPDATE: SO IVE had this product for awhile now and the battery lasted me 2 weeks with out having to recharge it keep in mind I used it every night for maybe 10 to 20 minutes a night. Cause well, that's all it took.... it holds a charge well and doesnt get hot some do just saying but it's super powerful.... best self love investment I could've ever made... ladies you need this in your lifes... cause wow! I can only say one thing... wow... holy freaking wow! This vibrator actually scares me. Stronger than my 280$ wand. *I* had to use the lowest level. I never use lower levels. Maybe I just got an absurd one but it’s terrifying… in a good way. Super rumbly. 10 speed functions (starts on the highest speed), 10 pattern functions, can’t attest for the run time because I haven’t used it longer than 20 minutes. I don’t like that the handle is slippery plastic, it’s got a good arch but you have to re adjust quite frequently if you don’t have a great grip strength. I wish the buttons made a bit more noise so you could hear better when you change levels but that’s me being picky. It’s nice and lightweight, much easier to hold than the beefy wand I have, so ideal for alone time and partner play. You can remove the silicone on the head to clean, not sure if that’s the purpose of it but that’s what I’ve done with my other vibes. Like that, don’t have to worry about drenching the rest of it under water so I can actually clean the top fully and wash/wipe the rest with a cloth. Because the plastic has a lot of crevices, I’d recommend you avoid using it anywhere really humid or wet like the shower (and absolutely not the bath), and to only use a wet cloth to wipe the body down, don’t run it under the sink. Some “splash proof” toys are more so than others, this one is definitely less but will be able to handle a good… spray or two here and there. Just be careful with liquids around it, essentially. I got this because I have a back injury and sitting aggravates it, pulls my SI muscle really tight. I have tried other massagers to various effect, but this one really fit the bill for the bucks. The vibration is strong, which I really enjoy. The charge lasts a long time-- I haven't timed it but you get at least a couple hours of use or more. The patterns are nice, although I prefer constant vibration. It's very easy to clean, lightweight but holds up to being pressed on (I really like to press it hard on my back, a lot of massagers don't do well with that).
