When I unpacked it I could not find instructions finally after unwrapping each piece I found them on the underside of the seat. Easy to assemble. I had it done in about 20 minutes. The instructions were very clear, both written and diagrams which aided in assembly. Additionally, the arms are discreetly marked “L” and “R” as well as the base marked Front. And the piece the screws to the bottom of the seat has arrows pointing toward the front. All of this helps avoid the headache of accidentally putting something on the wrong side or backwards. It’s decently comfortable. I ordered this for when I am working at home in the evenings. It is nowhere the soft cushy comfortable executive chair I have at my office. But it sure beats a wooden dining chair. Plus it’s small enough that I can pull it up to the dining table when I am working on multiple files at a time and need the surface space. Or can wheel it back to my bedroom and work at my desk. It’s not too bulky to move from room to room. Oh, and there are extra screws, one of each size, if you accidentally lose one. Read more

ASSEMBLY: This chair assembles quickly with no issues or guesswork in six simple steps. The full color instructions for assembly, usage, and safety are well written, easy to follow, and feature very nice diagrams. QUALITY: Fit and finish are impressive. All the pieces feel solid and well crafted of quality materials. It’s very comfortable for short to moderate sitting sessions. There’s no headrest so longer sitting sessions may become fatiguing if you don’t have or observe good sitting posture. USAGE: The black mesh material on the seat and seat back breathes well, is soft to the touch, and provides even support under your bottom and across your lower back. The armrests flip up and back in line with the seat back, but are otherwise non-adjustable (i.e., no twisting or sliding them side to side or front to back). I’m 5’6” with an average build and found them comfortable in the down position, but your mileage may vary if you have a different body type. A straight-forward minimalist office chair that most people should find more than serviceable. Being able to flip the armrests up and out of the way is a nice feature. RECOMMENDED Read more

This is a typical black webbing-backed office chair. I use it for my home office, and I like it. It meets all the basic standards for this style of chair. It feels solid. The seat is well padded and is comfortable for sitting. The back has good lumbar support. The height adjustment works well. The chair rolls easily and swivels easily. It looks good and would fit into any workplace. One special feature is the arm rests: they flip back when you want to get them out of the way. This is important for when my husband uses the chair. He has broad shoulders and long arms, and finds that most office chair arms get very much in his way, to the extent that he gets wrist injuries from holding his forearms in unnatural positions. For years, he has taken a screwdriver and removed the arms from any new desk chair. With this chair, that extra step is not necessary. When the arms are flipped back, they really are out of the way! When I'm working in that space, it’s easy for me to flip the arms down and use them, and then he can easily flip them out of the way again when he returns. This is a great feature, and I wish more chairs were designed this way. The seat of this chair is about an inch shorter, front-to-back, compared to other desk chairs I’ve used. For me this is fine, but my husband is a taller than average man. Still, he finds that it’s comfortable for sitting, but I think some people might prefer a slightly larger seat. Assembly is required. It took me about 50 minutes to assemble the chair, working by myself at a relaxed pace. The instructions are clear but not very detailed. Despite some potential for confusion, I didn’t actually run into any snags or difficulties during assembly. One additional plus that I appreciate: this chair is silent! It doesn’t squeak or groan when I move. This chair is in our home recording studio, so sometimes we are working with a live mic, and it’s very nice to have a chair that isn’t going to add its own background noise while we're recording. We were in need of a new office chair so when this showed up in my feed I immediately ordered it. It arrived in a timely manner and did need to be put together. As my title says, assembly was easy and relatively quick. As a larger person (270 lbs) I find it supportive and a good width. The width is actually a bit wider than your average office chair so I fit in it just fine with some room to spare. The back curves and offers some light support but there is room for you to put a support pillow if you use one. Casters (wheels) work well and do not squeak or stick. The feature I love best though is the fact that the arms can flip up if you don't want to use them or need to get them out of the way to push into a table/desk. Overall an excellent office chair for a an excellent price ($85 as of writing this review). Read more

This is a great chair! I had to retire my "old faithful" office chair after many, many years of service and intermittent duty as a spinning device for my children. That chair was expensive way back then... This chair is an affordable, high-quality chair. It goes together in about 10 minutes or less... the instructions are flawless and in perfect English with clear, easy-to-see (for old eyes) illustrations. Once together, you will feel how sturdy and supportive the chair is. It adjusts like any others using a gas cylinder for height. It works smoothly. The curve in the back of the chair provides nice lumbar support to fight fatigue at the desk. If you prefer the arms up for more of a "secretary" chair, easily done. It's a winner, for sure, and I am totally happy with it! Read more
