This is my Labrador retrievers favorite toy ever! He loves to play tug with it (usually using the handle side for himself) and would love to chew on it all the time! I usually don't let him chew on it because he would likely tear it apart. This is not for every Labrador though because mine happens to be only a moderate chewer (unlike most labs). This is our second one in one year (I don't let him tear it to the point where he can eat parts off) so if your dog is a big chewer and strong tigger you'd have to replace it more often. Read more

I'm constantly trying to get my dog to be more of a fetcher and player. Every now and then I can get her to chase a tennis ball in the backyard, but she gives up pretty quickly. I thought she might enjoy this as an alternative given the easy with which she could get a hold of it with the wiffleball like pattern. So far, it' hasn't really changed her behaviors. When we first went out in the backyard with it, she was curious but then squirrels got her attention. But take her reaction with a grain of salt when considering the ball overall. As a human, my impressions are: 1. It feels like high quality rubber. It's got a nice grippiness and flexibility to it. Note that it also smells like rubber, but hopefully that will fade a bit with time. 2. It's really fun to grab and throw and spin around. As the human part of the fetch equation, I really liked the feel in the hand. In fact, just sitting on the couch, it's pleasurable to just toss it up in the air to myself. So if your dog is not a super willing participant, no big deal -- you can still have fun! 3. It's pretty large. Our dog is 27 pounds and it seems a bit big for her, but given the pliability of the rubber, she can get her teeth into some of the holes. If you have a really small dog, it might be a bit overwhelming. This is more softball sized than tennis ball. So overall, I really like it. And hope that when my dog learns to play fetch better, she will too! Read more

My dog is obsessed with holey ball toys. She constantly has one in her mouth wanting us to go outside and throw is for her. We have typically bought a different brand and she uses them until they wear out. This one is ok. It's not the same type of molding, the edges are a little rougher. It still seems to be holding up well. It doesn't seem to throw or roll quite as well as our others, but it still is made strong and will hold up to biting and throwing for quite a while. Read more

This ball is great for dogs of all sizes thanks to the shape of it and the cutouts. Our puppy loves to chewy on things and loves to toss this ball around and chase it. It has kept her entertained for hours so far. It’s sturdy and has not fallen apart even with our destructive dog. It’s also pretty bouncy which entertained our pup to no end. Read more

I ordered this ‘OllyDog Waffle Ball’ for my Son’s dog to play with in the yard when he comes to visit. He likes to chew and chase things…the dog that is…so I figured this toy would be a good one to get. As you can see in the pictures, this ‘OllyDog Waffle Ball’ was a hit…with my two kitties at least. For them, it’s something big to bat around. I’m sure the dog will love it, too. I like this toy because it’s very soft and pliable. I know it won’t break anything or hurt anyone if it’s thrown too hard. And it’s a good size for my Son’s Husky pup. This ‘OllyDog Waffle Ball’ seems quite durable and well made. I’m sure it will take the beating it’s going to get around here with three pup and the Grandkids. In sum, I really like this ‘OllyDog Waffle Ball’. It’s a great choice for a dog toy.
