I just bought 3x "army" green scalloped sweater. The fabric is nice and soft and the fit is spot on. I do not generally wear my sweaters buttoned so I can't say how it would look buttoned closed but seems like it would be fine. There were no tears and no odor. The color is pretty not really reminiscent of Army, which to me is more dull. The test will be when the sweater has to be washed which I have yet to do. I love this cardigan! It is very nice, substantial material. Not too heavy or thin for fall weather. The scallop detail is quite pretty and the button holes are not too big for the buttons so they don’t slip in and out easily. I took one start off because it is shorter than I expected. The photos show it coming down to mid-hip. But it barely gets to the bottom of my waist. However, I did order my regular size after reading the reviews that said I should order one size up. I did that on purpose because I have been losing weight and I want it to fit me for as long as possible. So I knew it would run a tad small. But I still didn’t expect it to be that short. The quality of this sweater is much better than expected at this price point. The fabric is a nice silky texture, medium weight and fits really nicely. And for once, the sleeves hit at my wrist where they are supposed to instead of halfway down my hands. Someone said it was too short, but I didn't find that at all. I am 5'4" mid hip. The detail and stitching is done nicely, and there are no threads, loose buttons, or snags. Honestly, I have paid $60 for sweaters from Macys that weren't as nice as this one. I did order a size up because I like to layer it and I know it will shrink some no matter how careful I am with it. Overall, very pleased and will be ordering a couple more for wearing to work. This is a light sweater, don't expect something for winter temps. It's cute, the scalloped edges are nice. The color was on point. The reason for the 3 stars is because the garment is really short. Best for a cropped look for a taller woman or mid hip length for shorter women. Read more
