Sunday, two weeks ago, I watched my husband place his 15" laptop computer on an empty cardboard box on our kitchen counter to watch/follow an Italian Chef’s YouTube video making meatballs. He couldn’t watch the video in a comfortable angle with the laptop placed directly on the countertop, so he found a box to prop it up. I KNEW that there had to be a better way!!!! After a little research, I spotted this amazing little laptop stand and ordered it. Wow! It is amazing!!! I find most laptop keyboards difficult to use primarily because they sit flat, so I was excited to order this laptop stand. When I got it, I was surprised at how small the stand is when folded up. It comes with a cloth carrying case and is very compact. I wondered if something so small would be sturdy. I found it very intuitive in unfolding and setting up. To my surprise, it also feels very sturdy once unfolded and locked open. It has several possible angles and depths that can be set on the back area of the stand. It easily holds my Lenovo 16 as well as my iPad. It makes typing much easier by presenting an angled keyboard. The multiple angles means I can adjust it differently if my hands and wrists become tired. I did dock one star because the feet that hold the front of the laptop on the stand are angled at around 30 degrees from the horizontal line of the laptop. Right now the rubber on one side of each holder foot is holding the laptop away from the stand’s metal, but I’m going to have to keep an eye on that. I may need to put some tape around those holding feet to make sure they don’t scratch my laptop. Five stars if the manufacturer ever makes this rubber wrap-around. Out of the box, you may be surprised at just how compact this laptop stand is when it's fully folded. It will easily slip into a bag or backpack. The included carrying pouch is a nice value-add. Once you get it set up, the rubber bits are highly resistant to slipping so you won't have to worry about your laptop sliding all over whatever surface you place it on. The multi-stage feet make it easy to find suitable viewing and typing angles. If I had to nitpick, I would say that I wish the supports that prop up the laptop from below the wrist rest sat flush against it, but that's simply not possible due to the "X" shape the stand takes on when it's unfolded. Otherwise, this is a product I can very much recommend, especially for road warriors.
