I spent over 5 hours putting this together by myself. I took a few hours a day with lots of bending over (sore back will occur). The most difficult time I had was getting the frame attached to the table (that's where majority of the time was spent) after that it was easy and quick to assemble. I also had to watch the installation video to verify I was doing it correctly (now that could be a little closely filmed so you can see better). It is very sturdy as it holds two monitors very well with plenty of room still on the desk. Setting the sitting height and standing height is just as simple as it can be by simply pressing a button. The rise is very quite. I can't wait to work on it and see how it truly does. I will update in the coming weeks regarding use and any issues. I absolutely love everything about this desk! I’m a female and I put this together by myself in a little under 3 hours. All of the pieces are numbered and the directions are well written. The whitewashed wood gives this piece the farmhouse feel I was desperately searching for. The drawers are shallow but enough to store all my supplies and they glide smoothly. The motor raises and lowers the desk nicely without causing excess noise and it was pretty easy to install. 2nd UPDATE: well, I contacted the seller and they communicated with me promptly and take responsibility for the product, we were looking at the options here and they’re checking for the availability of the parts damaged so they could send it to me. Makes me feel much better when the seller is backing up their product. They have good customer service, I’ll give it that. UPDATE: with disappointment and sadness I have to say that just after the second day of assembly the desk failed. I’m just relieved that I was at home and close by, I heard a cracking and looked around to see the desk slowly bending downward at the middle; I rushed to it and hold it up to stop it from cracking into 2 pieces. At this point, I am alone and I don’t know what to do. I just asked for help to the heavens and with all my strength I pull it forward so I could turn in on it’s back onto the floor, now, that required even more strength since I was holding up the drawers structure with one hand and with the other holding up the desk’s weight until I reached the floor almost smashing up my fingers. I thought I had done something wrong when assembling and maybe didn’t tighten up enough the screws. But no, it wasn’t anything I did. I removed the drawers to find out that the middle supportive pieces that comes pre attached to the desk to hold up the drawers structure, was held up only by 3 tiny very slim nails, not even screws or reinforcement glue, just 3 tiny sticks for this very heavy desk. That’s a big manufacturing fail. I don’t know what I’m going to do with it now, besides the back pain I got from all the maneuvering and bending to hold it up together while placing it onto the floor. So disappointing, I’m so mad about it. At least I hadn’t placed my computer on it yet. Imagine that. I have posted pictures of damage. Had been looking for something very specific, 63” by 24” and over 30” High. After days and days of searching and comparing different options, the one I decided to go with, went up on price the day I was about to order. I gave up. Then without looking, this popped up on home page suggestions, looked pretty so I checked it out. It was perfect in dimensions and loved the looks. Only a couple reviews but the guy mentioning he was glad to pull the trigger without any reviews made me buy it😆. Also the price was great, I was not expecting it to be so solid. It was scheduled to deliver in a week but somehow it came the third day after I ordered so I was not expecting it and the delivery guys left it at the door, it is incredibly heavy box. Kudos to the delivery people, I wish I had been there at least for the tip. When I first opened the box and looked at the instructions, Im not gonna lie, it was very intimidating at first and thought it would take hours and hours with any luck. I’m a female 5.2”. I was checking the video on the product pictures at the same I was looking at the instructions, followed all the steps as noted. Don’t pull everything from the box, everything comes packed in order of assembly. It took me 4 hrs with plenty of time to look the video and had a couple drinks and making space for it, since I wasn’t prepared yet. It is actually very easy to assemble but when assembling the base you’ll need another person to help holding and placing over the desk. Place special attention to the drawers rails when installing, and the way the planks had to be facing. The result was great, I love it and so glad I went with the purchase.
