The fit is wonderful. I love the midsection. I have a bit of a belly and it conceals it well. I wouldn’t say “tummy control,” but maybe “tummy hiding.” Haha. The color is rich, dark, and very pretty. The material is thick and sturdy. The chest is perfect, it compliments a larger chest well without being revealing. It also keeps everything covered and in place. I am forever in search of the perfect swimsuit. I want a suit that works for aqua exercise and for swimming- no floating up in the water, no riding up or falling down. A swimsuit should be snug, but comfortable in the water (water inevitably causes some stretching), meaning that when I first put my suit on it should feel pretty tight, because it will loosen when wet. I don't like bra pads and remove them from all my suits. So there's some background; now, for this LaPhee Rose suit: I am absolutely delighted with it! The fit is excellent and attractive. The vertical gathering of the top is cute, the bottom coverage is excellent, and I love that I can criss-cross the straps! As for stomach coverage, it's okay, I like the ruching. The leg elastic is terrific (not too tight, definitely not too loose), nothing hangs out, and I never have to tug on or adjust the suit. The length is a huge asset - I'm 5'6" and many times swimsuits are too short in the torso, but this suit is perfect. I ordered the color Rifle, which is great for autumn. I sure hope this manufacturer adds more colors by spring because I'll buy another one. Or two. Read more

I am 8 months postpartum and recently began my hunt for a new swimsuit. Not only am I going on a family vacation but also will be taking my baby to swim class in the next few months. So, I needed a functional and flattering suit. This suit is amazing! So flattering with the stretchy material and the ruching around the stomach is a must for my postpartum ladies! I love this bathing suit. I wish I could find other styles with the same chest design but will probably just buy another color to add to my black one. It’s the shelf bra that does it. Because it has rouching it maintains its shape, makes the girls look fuller, symmetrical, high enough so no major cleavage and especially no non-bra wearing sag. Quality adjustable straps not too matronly and thick but also very supportive. Looks nice under shirts or dresses bc fabric not too puffy or thick. I also like the back on this — other brands have identical fronts w different style backs — but this one isn’t too low to show back fat but not too high up grandma-style. The rouching on the torso hides tummy well. Cut on hips not too high but not too low and unflattering for leg length. 5’6” 155lb size 10 bought the Large and it fits well. Room to grow if I gain weight lol but not saggy or baggy. I really like the way this suit fits my belly-heavy frame. Highly recommend. Read more

I can’t believe—after a lifetime of trying on hundreds of bathing suits in stores and never being happy with any of them—that I actually ordered one through the mail and it’s exactly what I wanted! I ordered the purple and it is, indeed, a deep, rich purple. It’s fully lined and beautifully made. It’s exactly as described and fit according to the size chart. For other customers, I’m 5’4”, 137 lbs, a bit short waisted. According to charts, I’m a 36C, but I think my cup size is actually smaller than that. (I like the removable pads because they give me something a little more “up top.”) There’s not really a built-in bra or “shelf,” so more endowed customers may prefer something with more support, but I’m very happy with it. I like the adjustable straps and appreciate the modest cut around the leg. I’m actually surprised to get something so well made at such a good price. (But Seller, please don’t raise the price because, as soon as my budget allows, I want to buy another one…in every color.) (PS.
