This bathing suit is super cute! I love bathing suit dresses. Especially with attached bottoms, so if the skirt floats up in the water, there is something underneath that matches. It's all one piece & due to the tummy control part, it seems like it was going to be too small - but it fit perfectly. It was a scorcher the day I tried it on & I decided to just wear it all day long while catching up on household chores. I even pulled on a pair of Capri leggings & went grocery shopping in it with a lace bolero over part of it. It was a hit at the grocery store & I even was asked where I got it the coverage is nice & modest, & I think it will last a few seasons if not longer. My only complaint is that the skirt part doesn't have a bottom seam like the shorts underneath, plus the shorts are not as long as they show on the model, at least they weren't for a size XL. I did go by the chart supplied on the page product & though it was slightly snug when pulling it on, I'm positive that's due to the panel in the front that's supposed to help you out! Read more

This arrived yesterday and I immediately went to try it on. First impressions?> Well, the fabric is of higher quality than I expected. It's a heavier weight poly-spandex with very resistant stretch which is a great thing. It's fully lined and it doesn't show in the photo, but under the skirt are boyshorts cut bottoms. It is all one piece, though, to be clear. It is quality made and feels like I'll get a few summers out of it at least! Due to it's resistant stretchiness, it aids in slimming effect as previously mentioned by another review. And Let me tell you, I am WELL aware of my body and how aging and children have done a number. I ordered an XL if that's any indication of what we are talking about here. But this suit is perfectly designed for my body type because it is extremely flattering and normally I have some kind of coverup over my suit, but once I tried it on yesterday, it was 111 degrees so I just kept it on and did chores inside and outside of the house with zero self-consciousness. (Sorry neighbors? Nope. It looked fine!) There is rouching of the midsection = slimming/obscuring, the skirt is positioned higher on the waistline = slimming/obscuring/shape-altering, the bust was supportive without choking the girls out, and the lower cut back was so nice to have on all day. I had my mister systems going all over the property as I worked, and having that open back was pleasant. I wished I was at the lake or I had actually bought a pool at the beginning of the season as I had planned, but if I finish fixing my car today (nearing the end of a months-long battle), it passes smog, thus gets registered which is overdue, I'll be able to start work and a pool will consume my entire first check. LOL Already informed hubs and he lauighed at me. Go ahead and laugh. ;) I'll be laughing, too, when it arrives on my doorstep. Gotta have reasons to wear this suit more often, right? Oh and speaking of hubs, he came home late last night after work and teasingly said, "Nice bathing suit." He pointed at the kiddie pool I have for the dog and he asked if I went swimming today. I said no I played in the sprinklers. (Not untrue, it the misters count.) He proceeds to tell me about his day and I listened to his shop talk as I have done every day he has ever come home from work in 22 years of marriage. Then I get up to attend to a few little tasks I am in the middle of and he says, "That suit looks really good on you." This time, he wasn't poking fun at me and was sort of startling to hear him say at that moment without prodding of any kind. (ya know, "dOeS tHIs MaKe ME loOk fAt?") This bathing suit exceeded my expectations. I ordered it in the green floral print. If there is anything in life that I hate to do, it is to shop for a new bathing suit, because I must try on many before finding one that fits well and that I like. I am petite at 5’4”, 124 pounds, size B/C bra, and pear-shaped. I normally wear size 10 pants, so I ordered the Large, following the seller’s size chart. It is a great fit! The fabric is wonderfully comfortable, and nothing pulls or pinches my body. The dress has rusching above the waist. Even though I do not need the extra tummy width, the extra fabric does not look awkward on me. It is a swimsuit dress, so more than a bathing suit. On me, the skirt hangs slightly lower than the built-in shorts. If I wear this into a casual restaurant, I doubt anyone would approach me to say, “bathing suits are not allowed.” It looks like a sundress. The modest design of the front and the back contribute to it looking like a dress. Living in Florida, I can see myself wearing this suit, grabbing dinner at the beach, going for a walk along the shore, and then a dip in the ocean. However, there is one change I will make to the bathing suit. The inserts into the cups in the bra area offer only gentle support. There is a slit on each side inside the suit to remove these, and I am going to exchange them for cups that I have that offer more support. I could wear it as is, but my personal preference is to have more lift in the bustline. The straps are not adjustable so I cannot adjust the “lift” by adjusting the straps.
