One Way Daytime Window Privacy Film See Out Not in Window Tint for Home Reflective Mirror Glass Windows

I purchased for my bathroom window. It's easy to apply when you follow directions. It adheres to the window good and can withholding steamy showers without problems. It comes with everything needed: a small spray bottle, utility knife, and smoothing tool (if you're doing a big job you will need a bigger spray bottle). This is a very pretty pattern and when the sun hits the film the colors that display are so pretty. It's like looking at a color prism. I wish I had a big privacy window that I could use this on and just stare at. This film is truly captivating. **Update and helpful hints** I'm noticing that many purchasers are experiencing hardship getting the back to peel off. If you put a piece of tape on both sides of the film and pull them apart as it states in the instructions, it will pull apart easy. Also, using water with a couple drops of dish detergent (I used Dawn) does make the film adhere to the window. Shake the mixture gently so as not to make it sudsy. Apply spray over entire area of window to be covered. It's best to cut film with a bit of an overlap to the window size and then do the trimming with the razor tool while using the red edging tool to cut along where the window meets the frame. Smoothing is best if going from the middle out to the edges. The film will slide if you don't hold it firm to the window while trimming. It is going on two months since applying the film and it is still clinging to the window perfectly. It has been exposed to a steamy conditions from showering, hot temperatures in the 90s and direct sunlight. The only thing I cannot speak on at this time is coldness from winter weather. The privacy is great from the outside looking in. I have even turned the light on at night and went outside to look in to see if I could see in, and it provided a hazy distorted type of privacy where you cannot make out details of objects inside. This did exactly what I wanted: daytime privacy while keeping a clear view outward. Installation was straightforward if you take your time with cleaning and smoothing. What I liked Noticeable privacy from outside during the day Still lets in plenty of light Easy install with the right prep Install tips that matter Clean the glass obsessively first Use lots of water/solution so you can reposition Squeegee from center out, then trim slowly Good to know Like most “one-way” films, the effect depends on lighting. I got this for my kitchen window which is a south facing window. I got it because i hated my view while doing dishes. I wanted something pretty! This is super easy to put up, sticks very well, and it’s absolutely gorgeous when the sun hits it through the day. This beautiful rainbow slowly moves trough my house. I love it so much! So pretty! Complete with water mister, olfa type razor cutter and plastic devises to help adhere the film. Unfortunately, I was planning to use on my new kitchen buffet glass panels but too transparent so returning. BUT, I have used their window film products many times and loved them and the prism effect is absolutely Gorgeous. Will find another version that will help conceal my canned goods in our new buffet. easy to install for a first-timer to window tinting. Came out nearly perfect despite me not having any idea what I was doing prior, I'm now confident I could easily do it again. CONS: the window tint makes a muddy-like appearance to viewing outside. If I were to look at a tree through the tint, the tree is now blurry because of the material that the tint is made from. They also use tape to seal the tint into a tube-like manner for shipping which is extremely challenging to remove the residue of, I would have liked to see them use a rubber-band or nothing at all instead. PROS: the tint adds great darkness to my desert sun-facing windows and the best part is that nobody can see inside (during the daylight hours) because of the silver-reflection on the outside (I bought black). I almost don't need curtains anymore thanks to these, the sun won't be bleaching anything in my room anymore. It's easy to install, I had the help of my sibling to remove the back-layers. Read more
