These fit perfectly. They have fairly wide toes so even with my somewhat wide foot, they are not tight and they do not rub me. The insole is soft and adds extra comfort. I love men's shoes and have been wearing them for 50 years—mostly from thrift stores—which is not ideal. These are the first Brogue-style shoes I've seen made for women. Do more! These fit me perfectly. They don't rub me wrong in any way and I have hammer toes. I would prefer a warmer brown that looks more natural, but I'll see how these wear. There's foam cushioning for exceptional comfort. They claim to be slip-resistant but nothing about the soles looks like the slip-resistant shoes I've seen. Slip-resistance is a technical term used for work shoes and they have special channels in the soles that wick water and oil. I took off a star for making that claim. I was worried these shoes would look to "manly" and am quite pleased that they don't. The materials and craftsmanship are both excellent. The fit is true to size and they are comfortable to wear right out of the box. There are no inside seam edges that dig into or rub uncomfortably against the foot and the cushioning is firm and meant to last a good long time. The only thing lacking is arch support. This shoe is beautifully made. It smells of leather- hmmm. My only issue was sizing. I wear a 7US, which in EU is a 37.5. Sometimes I but 38, which is a 7.5US, if I wear thicker socks, like sneakers. That is not the case for these, I would wear dress socks so a 7US/37.5 would do. The listing only lists the US size the company thinks it is. My bare foot just fit, but not even a thin dress sock would not have fit in it. When I looked at the box it's printed, very small and in the product number 37, that's a 6.5. So I had to send back. So disappointed. With this sizing you may need to size up to get the correct size. Read more
