Gloves for Long Gaming Sessions
Some people have the unique and sometimes inconvenient issue of sweaty hands. This product is a good solution for this. I read forums online that suggested gloves as a solution to wear while gaming and people specifically recommended "gaming gloves". I have weight lifting gloves that look similar but are complete half finger gloves however they are a lot thicker and overly padded. You would lose a lot of flexibility and range of motion using these type of gloves. I was apprehensive using gloves when my hands were already getting warm and sweating. My concern was that it may make the issue worse. These gloves have a nice thin suede like fabric in the palm and bottom of the fingers. This seems to act as a non-slip material with the rubber texture on the controller. It not only keeps your hands from slipping but also helps with loosening up your grip on the controller. I think the suede like aspect will absorb small amounts of moisture as you start to sweat. The top is a very light nylon type material which is breathable. it's interesting that only the thumb and pointer fingers are half gloves while the rest of the fingers are full length. But it seems to work out okay. The company does make a complete half finger option too if you prefer that. The full length on the middle, ring and pinky fingers does help to reduce sweating. I think the majority of the heat and sweat builds up on your palm and the gripping fingers so I notice a good improvement there. They are also light weight so I just toss them in the wash and let them air dry every so often to remove any smell or sweat. If I had any negative comments it would only be that I wish they were a little bit longer. I chose the large size (they only offered "medium" or "large"). They are not uncomfortable they just have the similar feel to socks that fit a little too perfect where you can feel it pushing on the tips of your fingers. It feels a little annoying after longer gaming sessions but it's not a deal breaker for me. I would just warn individuals with longer fingers that these may not work out for you.
