Orthopedic surgeon recommended these after I had ankle surgery. Extremely comfortable and great arch support. Extremely slippery if you walk in wet grass or straight out the pool. Make sure your feet are dry. Only shoes I wear besides Doc Martens. Read more

Let me start off saying that if I could give this brand of shoes six stars, than I would. My wife is in her late 30's and she is always on her feet, especially being a dance instructor. She suffers from plantar fascitis, which is a painful feel problem. I dont know how she heard about them, but it was recommended to her so she gave it a shot. She is so glad she did! These are VERY thick in the heel and in the arch with a soft but durable material. She said it was like walking on marshmallows, pillows, clouds, ( insert other soft things here). She would wear them constantly, all day with out ANY discomfort or pain. I was a bit skeptical and would make fun of her about how much she raved about these sandals......until I tried a pair myself. My first experience was walking around in the heat Las Vegas for about 6-8 miles a day. I could not do that in my other sandals......any sandal for that matter. So overall OOFOS have forever customers here. Together we preferred the sandal that goes between the toes for grip reasons, as opposed to the OOFOS that just go over the top of the feet. I call them the "slide-ins." To me those seemed to slip out more. So to wrap it up, if you are in pain, or need arch support in a sandal than you need to try these out. I love my Oofos Oolala Recovery Sandals, they’ve honestly changed how I walk with knee pain. The cushioning is incredibly supportive and soft, and I’ve noticed a real difference in how my knees feel after long walks.
