I have very sensitive teeth and this is only thing that I can handle on my teeth. It also is the only thing that has actually made a difference and has whitened my teeth. I’ve used this every other night for only the past week and my teeth are so much whiter. My one front tooth is a temporary fake tooth and you can see the difference between what my teeth used to be and how they are now. Will continue to buy and use this forever!!! Read more

TL;DR: This whitening gel is amazing and I always come back to it. I have always been a daily coffee drinker and I bought this Opalescence 10% gel for a few years and always received compliments on how white my teeth were. I wear a retainer so I put the gel in my retainer overnight and would usually whiten once a week or once every other week if I forgot. Recently however I decided to try a higher % gel from a different brand that you leave on your teeth for a fraction of the time. I used it many times without noticing results. Last week I decided to go back to my tried and true and after 2 treatments, I did back to back nights because I needed quick results, my teeth were noticeably whiter and I received two separate compliments on how white my teeth were. Also to note, the Opalescence gel does not have an offensive taste like other whitening gels so you can leave it on for hours and not get grossed out. Read more

I used this one time and it made the biggest difference in the color of my teeth as an avid coffee drinker. Only think I will say is it does irritate your gums or you use too much of the syrum. Read more

I originally purchased whitening products through my dentist and it cost hundreds for the molding and initial product. I used nite white and I didn't pay attention to the concentration % but that product worked effectively. (When friends and colleagues comment on how white your teeth are, you know it works!) That was 9 years ago. Over the years, I did a touch up with nite white but decided to try another product the next time around. Based on good reviews, I purchased Opalescence. Opalescence has many different concentrations to choose from low to high. The product and packaging is small and convenient, where you can easily put new syringes away. The mint flavor has a nice scent to it, not overpowering. It's been awhile since I used a whitening gel. I decided to go light and bought the 10% concentration to use overnight for two weeks. I tried my best to stick to the schedule but missed a day each week. I avoided foods (coffee/tea) that are known to stain teeth while using this product. I experienced very little sensitivity, which started in the 2nd week. At the end of two weeks, I used 3 syringes and noticed only a very slight difference. I like the product overall and can see myself buying it again. For overnight use, I'd recommend trying the 15% concentration. Any concentration above that should follow the directions of timed use. Overall I give this a 4/5 as it is very light and easy to use, however the concentration isn't as effective as one would imagine. Read more

This gel works gradually, which I actually prefer since it doesn’t cause the sensitivity I’ve had with other whitening products. I wear it overnight and have seen subtle improvements. Opalescence is a brand I trust, and this one definitely lives up to that reputation. Read more

Teeth are whitening. The 10% carbamide peroxide is a gentler concentration, may take a little longer to see full whitening results but I like that it is gentler. I have the mint, but honestly there’s virtually no flavor to it at all. I can’t really taste anything other than a slight freshness. I am in the midst of using it, so far so good. My suggestion is: do take the time to watch videos or see demonstrations of the amount of gel to use. Give yourself time to get the hang of it. It’s truly just a very small squeeze of the gel which then spreads out when pressed against your teeth. In my personal experience, even the one night a little bit of the gel got onto one tiny bit of my gum line it was very minor sensation because it’s a lower concentration. Am using it overnight. For me, if after 2-3 nights of use the teeth feel a slight sensitivity just stop and rest for day or two then resume. Everyone is different, I also have a higher concentration one, which I will probably experiment with. Read more
