Looks well made good quality, thick Bottom looks like it could possibly be used on stove. If you have Walmart pressure cooker and the pot says 10 cups Get the 12 cup. It's not measuring the extra two inches at top. But will fit perfectly Read more

The pot does not work with the Amora rice cooker. Tried to return. They sent me a weird bar code that Amazon/Whole Food will not accept. No idea why amazon would sell this and will not accept back with the barcode provided via amazon. Read more

Bought this to replace the pot for my Oster 3 cup rice cooker. It fits perfect, the rice cooks evenly, and does not stick. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This review is for the "Operitacx 8 Cup/1.4L Uncooked Stainless Steel Rice Cooker Inner Pot, Non-stick Rice Cooker Pot Replacement Compatible with Multi-, Polished Surface". It might be my aggressive cooking style... or maybe just heightened expectations that my Instant Pot will do what some recipes imply it will do. That being cook some recipes without shutting down with the dreaded "BURN" warning. It was a batch of southern style BBQ baked beans that were my last experience with this. Thanks to the acquisition of this 8 cup stainless steel rice cooker inner pot, I'll never get that warning again in my Instant Pot Ultra! I compared the dimensions of the Operitacx 8 cup pot the the OEM Instant Pot Ultra 8 quart pot and found what I had been looking for, for a long time. A pot that will fit inside the OEM Instant Pot pot This pot fits perfectly inside and on top of a stainless standoff that I use with the rice cookers and steamer accessories I've used in similar fashion. The standoff provides about 3/4" rise above the bottom of the Instant Pot pot to keep it from direct contact with the heat transfer. The first test was a batch of cajun seasoned red beans. Ohhhhhh baby, they turned out purrrrrfectly! I soaked the dry beans for 2 days and did a full-on high pressure cooking for an hour with absolutely no burn and just enough liquid to make them creamy, not watery. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures. The price with Prime shipping included is a little on the high side for similar products. But the ability to do a full-on high pressure cook, with what in the past would have burned, is worth any extra cost. Since it is what it says it is and does what it does which is "stop the burn!" - even at a slightly higher price, I'm giving it 5 stars Read more
