Just finished painting nails with this for the first time. My experience with this polish is that if you use the polish alone, it's not going to work well. I bought this polish for the color, and thought OPI was a good brand I had seen at salons. I was not aware that you need to pair this polish with their special base coat. I'm thinking that's where I went wrong bc applying this by itself was SO bad. The polish was so thin that it actually rolled to the edge of my nail and pooled in the skin, which obviously looks bad. Plus the paint just would not stay in the tips of my nails, so all my tips look white. I think I put four coats on each hand bc the color was so horribly translucent. The first coat looked non-existent. So then to make the color appear I had to dab on the polish in much larger amounts that I would normally, which led to adding much more thickness than usual onto the nail plus it altered the shape of the nail bc of the polish sliding off and looking on the sides. Plus, 4 coats of paint plus the top coat takes forever to do! So annoyed!!!!! After all that my nails still don't look good! Read more
