Exactly what I hoped! This is a rich red for the Holidays - a deep cherry red, no glitter no sheen just a deep Classic Santa's Coat Red with a very shiny surface. For those of you who care, this Crimson - the blue side of the red spectrum - instead of scarlet - the orange/yellow side of the spectrum, it is a deep color, but without the brown or purple tones needed to shift it to burgundy or wine colors, just deep cherry red. Think Snow White's Lips. It is a perfect match to my Santa Red Velvet dress - so I am GOOD for this holiday season! It is OPI so, as expected, 2 coats on top of a base coat gets you full coverage, dries faster than many. I'm guessing you shouldn't skip your base coat, as this may stain your nails if applied directly, but I haven't tried that - yes, I'm chicken😉. Went on beautifully, with a perfectly smooth, shiny finish. It is also a perfect "Stars and Stripes 🇺🇸", 4th of July Red - so I WILL be keeping this on hand - I have added it to my Favorite Nail Stuff list for easy retrieval, and it is now my favorite Red polish. Can't yet speak to durability, but I am expecting to get a week out of it (I do my nails once a week) on my fingers, and 2-3 weeks on my toes as this is what I generally get with OPI, will report back if this doesn't hold true. This color is so pretty! Love shades of red for the winter, this one is not like any of my other OPI shades, it’s a little more burgundy than a red but so rich and pretty! It will be a reorder for several seasons! Nice and thick, 2 coats did great. Dried quickly and smoothly and the bottle was normal, retail expected sized. Read more
It is a kind of salmony pink color. It looks more of a neutral shade and very light. It dried quickly and the second coat of color covered the entire nail. I have had it on for 5 days now, along with a clear base and top and there is no chipping or wear. I like the color even better than I thought it would be, but it is NOT close to what the color looks like in the picture or in the bottle. Read more
On the thicker side but still not difficult to apply. I needed two coats to get even color. Will probably be best with a top coat to smooth it out and increase durability. Read more
