Awesome product! As others have said, given that it's a 100% polyester novelty suit, the quality is fantastic. I wear suits to work almost everyday and the quality is certainly a couple notches below that, but again, on the spectrum of what you'd expect from a nice suit and what you'd expect from a Halloween costume, this is much closer to the former (especially the jacket, which is nicely lined, unlike the pants, which aren't lined and the polyester alone is a bit thin). On fit, order 1-2 full sizes larger. I'm 6'2, 215 lbs. Usually wear a 44 regular jacket (46 if its a skinny fit) and 38x32 pants. Here, I wrestled with whether to get a 46 or a 48 - since I was trying to follow the advice of going one size up and I have a mix of 44 and 46 suits in my closet. Then I saw advice on the sizing chart saying when in doubt, go with the bigger size. Okay, so I got the 48. Fit great. Waist was perfect on the pants. Chest near perfect (a touch big) on the jackets. It's got a little more in the way of shoulder pads than you'd see in a typical 2019 suit - not in a noticeably bad way though, and that probably helps the jacket be a little more forgiving on fit. Pants were a little long - honestly I could have worn them without hemming, but did do a quick hem there. I'd also have taken an inch off the sleeves if I was going to be wearing this as a work suit, but didn't bother considering I don't expect to wear it much. Also be sure to give the jacket a quick ironing (on a low, polyester setting) before wearing - not strictly necessary, but you don't want to look rumpled. To sum up, go for it - if you want to stand out, these suits will do it. Quality is much better than you'd expect for a novelty suit. Just be sure to go 1-2 sizes up. Read more
I don't write many product reviews. I ordered this suit to attend a Costume Party with Vegas theme. It worked out great, fit great and is well made. I would highly recommend it. The only concern I had was the fit, as I had read in previous reviews that the product is cut very slim and is a full size smaller than standard U.S. mens's sizes. This was great advice, as I ordered a men's 46 jacket and the associated waist size. I normally wear a 43/44 jacket and my waist is 36"...I like slim fit or tapered men's clothing. I ordered this cheetah print suit for my son for his homecoming, and it was a total hit! His normal suit size is a 40, but after reading some reviews, I decided to size up to a 42 — and I’m so glad I did. The fit was perfect — not too tight, not too loose, just the right amount of room for comfort and movement. He’s 5’10” and about 170 lbs, and the 42 fit him like it was tailored for him. The material feels nice and looks high quality in person, and the cheetah print gave it such a fun, standout look for the event. He got tons of compliments all night! This suit is good quality, great material and very well made. HOWEVER; BUYER BE AWARE this product FITS EXTREMELY SMALL. Hence why I took 1 ⭐️ off. My husband is a size 36 waist and 36 length normally at 6’3 in height. I bought a 36 to start, it was extremely small, I then ordered a size 40 thinking a few sizes up would work, right?! WRONG!! It was still way too small! FML 🤬 (Keep in mind each time you return the suit you’re charged for return shipping 💸🔥) We wanted to be extra cautious so we ended up ordering a size 46 to be extra safe. It finally fit perfectly. Going from a standard 36 to a 46 is a BIG jump. Make sure you order a much, much larger size or you will get insecure about your weight (no we didn’t eat beef cake for dinner) curse the suit gods and pay for return shipping which = money wasted. Bought this for a special work event at the zoo - it was a HUGE hit! We rented some meeting space so I arrived at the zoo around 8am, along with most of the zoo's regular management. As I walked up, someone appearing to be a zoo executive walked over to me and said, "Whatever job you are here to interview for, you're HIRED!". We had a great laugh and I explained my odd attire. The purple liner is really nice and this suit is well made. Be aware the hem is a blind one with clear threads, so if you are super fussy and need to hem this PERFECTLY you'll want to bear that in mind due to the multiple colors. We used a neutral thread and it was fine however. I bought several sizes initially not knowing exactly which one would be ideal. None of them were - all too small. So be prepared to size up despite what others might note. But Amazon shipped super fast and had free returns with a drop at Kohl's, so I was able to re-order the perfect fit even with the goof up. This suit was supposed to come with matching pants and it came with black pants. It’s not worth $100. I wouldn’t waste your money. My son and his friends are wearing these suits to to their Senior homecoming and it’s disappointing it didn’t come with the matching pants. The black pants don’t fit and he had to go and get another pair of dress pants. Read more
