I have been a contact lens wearer for a solid 25 years. Through that timespan, I have tried many brands, and types within brands, of contact solutions. Opti-Free Replenish is by far my favorite. Above all reasons, the benefit to this solution is comfort. With this solution, I hardly notice I’m wearing contacts. It doesn’t hurt to blink. It doesn’t feel like there is anything sitting on top of my eyes unless I’ve been wearing contacts for 12+ hours. At the moment, I’m wearing Bausch and Lomb Daily Disposables, while I’ve worn other brands as well like Alcon non-disposables. Opti-Free Replenish feels great with every contact lens I’ve tried. My second reason for choosing this brand is I suffer from dry eyes. This solution does a wonderful job of hydrating the lens itself. If I have to take my lens out during the day to shower, nap or whatever—when I pop them back in, the lenses, and therefore my eyes, feel hydrated. Just this month, my eye doctor, during eye examination said my eyes were extremely dry. I must now use rewetting drops four times a day. In addition to the drops, I went back to this brand of solution which had been recommended to me previously by an eye doctor. A family member had picked up the wrong kind of solution from a drug store. So, after my eye exam I threw that other brand away and ordered Replenish here on Amazon. It was here the next day. The quality of Opti-Free has always been great. This product works so much better than the version with hydraglide. I have found, (as many others) that any contact solution that has hydraglide in it will make your contacts seem cloudy. This is the best value that I have found of this solution, and Amazon is the only one I can find that sells it without the hydraglide! The moisturizing level that this gives you each morning is amazing. It feels like new contacts each day! I wear monthly contacts. Read more
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is my favorite contact solution as it always seems to thoroughly clean my contacts while also hydrating them. The online amazon price also beats my local stores so it’s an obvious choice to buy from Amazon for me!
