Its floss, it removes plaque, and it works. The extra wax helps it to GLIDE (no pun intended) effortless between the your teeth. The flat tape shape allows it fit between your teeth, and slip under the gumline for that extra deep cleaning. And the extra strong nylon resists rips and tears. Def. my favorite floss. Retails for over >$6 at CVS. Here $16 will get your a case of 6 for only $16. Read more

I have an old tube of Glide in the white, cylindrical packaging marked as "Crest Glide Original Floss." That stuff was great. It cleaned well and NEVER broke. The newer stuff packaged in the little turquoise boxes marked, "Oral-B Glide Pro-Health Comfort Plus Floss" is useless as it breaks constantly. Maybe it's the "comfort plus" formulation that makes it prone to break. Not sure, but the "Oral-B Glide Pro-Health Comfort Plus Dental Floss" breaks frequently and because of that, I do not recommend. Read more

It’s horrible. I thought I was buying the other oral b floss. I guess they don’t make it anymore. This stuff is absolutely terrible and it’s expensive. I don’t know what to do. All I can say is don’t buy it. It’s not the stuff they used to make. It’s in the same kind of packaging but it’s not the same good wonderful floss that it used to be. Read more

There's really very little one can say about dental floss, but this is VERY smooth and VERY wide dental floss that gets between teeth amazingly well. It's an absolute joy to use this floss. I buy it in bulk, and then double up whenever I use it. It's great. And incidentally, there's no comparison between this stuff and the regular Glide dental floss. That stuff is wide and just as shred-free, but this Comfort Plus version is much smoother and gentler on the teeth as I floss. The only negative about this floss -- like other brands -- is that shortly before it runs out, it 'cuts itself off' in the container. So, essentially, if you want to use the last couple yards of this floss, you have to take apart the dispenser. Not a big deal, I guess. Read more

I have very streight, closely-set teeth that slice or fray through every other floss by the end of the 'three pulls' recommended for the sides of each socket. If you have this problem as well, this is the floss you should consider using. Other reviewers may describe it as being too slick, but I disagree. It's just rough enough, or it's made rough enough by the process (but still doesn't break!) that it works very effectively. In any case, floss is also intended to open up airways into the sockets to allow oxygen to penetrate, and kill anaerobic bacteria that thrives there in the absence of flossing. This is difficult to achieve when cheaper flosses fray and break through. In my case, I have had to pull new lengths of floss and continue on with this process sometimes 3-4 times over with the cheap stuff. Save yourself the time, cost and effort and just use this product. Again, this review is from someone with 'Hollywood' or 'Shark' teeth (I've been told both, and take both as compliments). If you have wider-spaced teeth or teeth that are not as sharp on the interior, you may be just as satisfied with a cheaper alternative. Read more

This is an average floss that occasionally picks up the stuff hiding between your teeth. It used to be my favorite until I found Dr. Tung. As a comparison, Glide is very slick (appropriately named) and smooth. Dr. Tung is thicker and has some tactile grippyness. For the longest time, I thought Glide was doing a good job getting all the food out, but once I started using Dr. Tung, I noticed how much more it was getting out. It gets out the smaller particles that Glide isn't able to grab hold of because it's so slick and thin. If you're on the fence on what floss to get, I say get Dr. Tung. Read more

Easy to use--and I use it a lot! Flat, can thread through stuff that I need to use, so that is great. Read more
