I thought I would save money by buying the store brand floss (that also claimed to be "minty glide") and I WILL NEVER MAKE THIS MISTAKE AGAIN. This is one area where the generic just does not cut it. The Oral B Glide is great - takes most of the unpleasantness out of flossing - easily glides through my teeth and tastes good too. It doesn't break apart like the generic brand, and it doesn't require you to use excessive force to get it between your teeth, resulting in hurt gums. This is the real thing. Read more

I've never been especially diligent about flossing in the past as I have been the past year. I had a particularly disastrous report on the state of my gums at the dentist last year, and realized it was time to buckle down and get serious about my gum health. One year later, flossing every single day in the morning, and I received a glowing report (phew!). Glide is, hands-down, my favorite floss. I've tried so many different brands over the years, and find that none are quite as durable as Glide. There is nothing more frustrating than getting only part-way through your mouth and having the floss break on you. So, no more off brands or generic brands for me. I feel as though the flat design of the floss in comparison to those that are thinner and more round allows the floss to get into the especially tight spaces better. I love the mint flavor to help give my breath a little added freshness. Since I'm going through more floss than I ever have in my life, it's important that I have one I like to use. Highly recommend! This is the best floss ever. It just GLIDES in between my teeth and removes everything so effortlessly. I always try to save money any way I can. This is a great deal on Amazon and I searched high and low but cannot beat this deal. I also have tried so many flosses but nothing seems to work like GLIDE. Take care of your teeth and use this!
