I've tried Phillips Sonicare 4100 and the Oral B 5000 model and this one blows those out of the water. My teeth feel so much more cleaner with iO. My issue with Phillips is my teeth just don't feel as clean as with the Oral B toothbrushes. Philips Sonicare 4100 is easier to use because it's like a conventional toothbrush but the clean just isn't as good as the Oral B roundheads. My issues with the Oral B 5000 model are that it's noisy and the motor quickly became worse/weakened. It still had a better clean though than the Philips 4100. The iO model is easier to use than the 5000 and so far, the motor's held up (only a month tbf). The 5000 model feels like a more harsh clean while the iO model is so much smoother I suppose because of its new motor. I hope the motor doesn't feel slow in the future. I've seen people talk about mold. I have no idea how that happens but it hasn't happened to me on any of my toothbrushes. I've found my model of electric toothbrush to buy now. Read more
Great product - I recently replaced by old electric toothbrush & this 1 is a gamechanger. I cleans much better & comes with an extra head for deep cleaning that really works well. I like the cleaning modes & not overly loud. Highly recommened! Read more
UPDATE. I originally gave this Toothbrush a poor rating because it did not retain a charge. I was using the charger from my old toothbrush that looked exactly the same. Apparently its not. I swapped it out with the new charger and its perfect. I only have to charge it every 2-3 weeks. I charged it overnight and after 3 uses the battery is drained. I really like the way it brushes, but I don’t want to have to charge it every night. I threw away all the packaging so there is no way to return it. I expected way more from OralB. Read more
Not your grandpa's electric toothbrush- that's for sure! Well-made and more than powerful enough. A visible difference in the whiteness of my teeth. Everyday stains like coffee and smoke were noticeably reduced in 1 week! The 2-minute timer is a great tool. Makes me want to brush. I've had it 3 months and I'm happy still. The replacement heads are pricey, but still well worth it. It makes me wonder why they even SELL regular toothbrushes!! Get your young ones using an electric toothbrush. NOW! (and not a dinky one) Read more
I've been using the Oral-B Pro 3 Electric Toothbrush and I really liked it. Cleans the teeth very well and leaves a feeling of deep cleaning, like fresh out of the dentist. The round head reaches each tooth well and helps remove more plaque than a manual brush. I also like that it has several brushing modes and a pressure sensor that warns if you are brushing too hard to protect the gums. In addition, the timer helps you brush the time recommended by dentists. The battery lasts a long time on a single charge, which makes it very practical for daily use. In general, it is a very comfortable and effective electric brush to maintain good dental hygiene every day. ⭐🪥 Read more
This Oral-B iO Deep Clean electric toothbrush has been a noticeable upgrade to my daily oral care routine. The brush feels solid and high quality in hand, and it’s clear a lot of thought went into the design. The pressure sensor gives helpful feedback so I don’t brush too hard, and the three cleaning settings let me choose the right intensity for daily brushing or a deeper clean when I want it. It comes with two brush heads and a travel case, which makes it easy to keep one head at home and one in my bag without worrying about swapping heads constantly. The rechargeable battery lasts a long time between charges, and the charging stand is simple and convenient. Using it feels gentle but effective, and it leaves my teeth feeling cleaner than I get with a regular manual brush. For the price this toothbrush offers excellent value because it combines performance and thoughtful extras that make everyday brushing easier and more effective. Overall I’m very happy with it and would buy again. Read more
After switching to these toothbrushes, I now know why people swear by Oral-B toothbrushes! My teeth have never felt so clean before, and they brush my teeth comfortably and keep my gums healthy! Noise level is acceptable. However, the brush heads expire quickly and aren't so durable. Read more
This is a nice step up from our previous Oral-B brushes. Those were fine, but as tends to happen after a few years they stopped recharging. This one charges on the same base, but they use a different (and slightly more expensive) brush head. So that is something to know about them up front. They have a nice variety of settings that should suit most folks. Some of the higher-level models have more, but I can't imagine that you need them. This has a daily, sensitive, and whitening mode. I can't really tell the difference between them yet. I thought my teeth felt clean with my last model, but they REALLY do now! I also like how this one works with the timing alerts. You get the 30-second reminders, but it doesn't shut off at the end of 2 minutes in case you have an area that needs a little more time. You can also pause it for a moment (to spit, for example) and it will remember where you were. This is my new favorite feature (aside from thorough brushing of course). I chose this particular model because I found it to be the best value for the provided features. The travel case is great, too, so you never have to be without the great brushing! There is plenty of battery power to make it for most vacations with no need to pack your charger. The pressure sensor ensures I brush with enough pressure, and keeps my husband brushing without too much! (This was a real problem for him, and the red only didn't deter him, the way keeping in the green works for him now. We have a set of one blue, one black, so we always know which is which for certain! Read more
