Despite our emerging digital inclinations, in 100 years the iconic yellow pad will still be around because it's ideal for certain jobs. Whether I'm making a list, taking notes in a meeting, or thinking on paper, these yellow legal pads are the perfect tool. Because the pads are legal-ruled the lines are characterized by wider spacing (around 11/32 inch) between horizontal lines and a prominent vertical margin (about 1¼ inches) on the left. Because they are so long, you are not flipping the page as often to add additional writing. Admittedly, I prefer college-ruled because it accommodates more writing, but legal-ruled is perfectly fine. Through the years I have purchased and used a multitude of legal pad brands, and these pads are among the best. The paper is thickish, not easily torn as some legal pad sheets are. Additionally, when pulled away from the pad, individual sheets aren't as likely to tear away from the perforation, leaving an odd, wayward piece of yellow paper clinging to the top binding and interfering with the next sheet which needs to be pulled off. The backing chipboard is sturdy and substantial, not as inclined to buckle or slide as happens with some yellow pads. Finally, the price for such high quality is more than reasonable. All sized at the standard 8.5x11. Decent quality and pretty standard, really. Thick (ish) paper. Easy to tear from the pad. I'm not sure how much one can say about this item. It's exactly as advertised. There are no issues with the pads, as the papers tear off well but not too easily. It was packaged in a manner that arrived without any damage and I've found it very useful whenever we're playing board games or the like in the house and we need to get some scratch paper for score keeping or what not. There's no film on the paper that makes it hard to write on or anything. In this digital day and age, I can't see myself needing more than this amount of paper for the rest of my life, lol - but if I did need more, this would be a great purchase. Read more
