I've seen others say it has a fishy taste, but that's not quite true. It's more like a seaweed flavor like those roasted seaweed sheets you can get. Good amount for the price and I don't drink it for the caffeine, but it works for the matcha lattes I like to make. You can control how much you want, but too much and not enough water makes it like leftover cereal residue. Not gritty but noticeable, which is fair for how much I add. Really fresh when bought, I went through it a little too fast. Very tasty, nice smell. Nice blend of sugar content and very close to Dunkin's matcha. Could do without the seaweed flavor but isn't bad. Read more

Great Morning tea to replace my coffee habit! Tastes great! Careful to not add boiling hot water because it changes the color and flavor! Mixing into Warm/hot but not boiling water is best! Read more

I knew I had made a mistake when I opened the pouch and looked at it. It didn't look or move like any macha powder I had purchased in the past. It looked like tiny granules or crystals. I poured some out and sifted it, and it looks to me like it's essentially sugar with just enough macha powder to turn it all green. To verify my observation, I licked my fingertip, touched the bit in the spoon, and tasted it. Sugar. That said, if you like overpaying to make macha sugar water, don't let me hinder you, but there are tastier and healthier ways to sweeten a macha latte. Try using vanilla stevia with unsweetened macha powder. Read more

I think this is worth the price. It is one of the cheapest brands out of its kind. Packaging is very nice. Easy to close and store. Its easy to dissolve. I just put a very little bit of hot water in a glass and stir until dissolved. Add ice and then top with milk. The sweetness and ratio of matcha after that is perfect! Tastes exactly like Dunkin's matcha but better in my opinion especially since I can control dissolving. When I get it from other places they never dissolve it and it settles to the bottom and that makes it watered down. Delicious. I have already ordered 2 times since. I love it and will continue to buy it as long as the formula and price stays the same. I'm sure this is wonderful hot as well with some cream and milk to balance. Great product! Thank you 😃 Read more

I love this tea! My daughter and her family gifted this tea with lavender spirits and an electric wisk to blend it all. I add my own almond creamer to it and this is like the best drink ever! Read more

I'm a relatively new matcha appreciator, but I became hooked on Starbucks matcha latte and wanted to be able to make a similar drink at home. This product is good, but not great. The main reason it it's very sweet and contains a lot of sugar which can easily be seen as crystals sinking to the bottom of my glass. The matcha flavor is also a little light and I had to add extra pure matcha powder that I purchased from another brand for a better experience. Not bad, but not the best for someone who wants more matcha taste with fewer calories and added sugars. It's also a yellow-green in color, a bit grassy, and not the brilliant green of higher grades. The thing I DO really like this brand for is extending the expensive higher grades and making them last longer by mixing them together in lattes. Read more
