I was searching for a new black unsweetened tea and found this one. It offers a refreshing and light taste, though it may be a bit pricey - I highly recommend it. Read more

This was my first pu'er tea to try- the Ganpu. Now, I do not recommend this be the first pu'er you try. Hot pu'er frin tea cake will be a better intro. In some ways, the icing of the tea brings out new flavors, in some ways it prevents the flavors that may come from the cake. The tangerine flavor is subtle. I understand people saying "metallic" or "dirty hay" but this is merely the complex taste of pu'er tea and dried tangerine peel. It is not supposed to instantly be pleasing on the tongue, but be pleasing for its complexity, and satisfying ultimately. Don't buy this if you want an instant-pleasure drink. This is a delicious savory drink that you will come to enjoy with curiosity and patience. The packaging is very acceptable, the tea is delicious and as advertised. I do recommend this tea. But try some pu'erh first. And if you order the tea and don't like it at first, drink in small amounts with food or with a bit of honey. Otherwise, enjoy! Read more

The vendor reached out to me 3 times (in 2 days) for my review. I felt like I was being coerced and/or harassed to be honest and not happy about that. In my personal opinion, this tea is garbage. There’s a metallic taste and something else. I don’t know what, but it has a funky flavor on the backend like dirty hay or something. Packaging is very nice, but it doesn’t make up for the god-awful taste. There is zero value here and I ended up donating the entire case (-2 bottles that I sampled) to Goodwill, because let’s be honest, they’ll take just about anything and I couldn’t return an incomplete case (the vendor knows this). I’ve been chasing a replacement to SOBE’s Orange Spice Iced Tea that they stopped making around 2006; which has led me to some surprising finds like ITO EN Tea, Teas Tea and Gold Peak (all great products). This Orange black tea wasn’t even close and now due to the bad experience, I am incapable of trusting this vendor on any other flavors or products. This tea is manufactured in China and sold in the U.S. This is a far cry from the expected quality you’d expect …shame on me. Read more
