I bought this to replace the original cover that my 2 dogs have loved for over 6 years. It was getting a little bit worn so i decided to replace it with a new cover. Good news, the dogs still love it and the old frame is still in great shape. So, I was able to save a little money by only needing a new cover. Read more
Definitely not heavy duty, the dogs scratch them and bite through it but they last 6 months - for the old pups they have lasted longer -I am very pleased with the product - and they have become part of our family we will keep buying and keep it - this brand has been able to last longer than the other brands and I am telling the pups jump on top, fight on top of them and the structure remains as the bed - of course after a long run of bites, scratches and pulls they go down but I am telling from all I have tried in a real point of life for my budget and pups - this has been the longest one, best price and they love it. I will just add the following - I have 11 rescues mostly Labradors retrievers from 1 year old to 12 years old...the younger pups are the ones who bite, scratch, jump etc...two in particular have a lot of anxiety and without teaching them to control the anxiety and to respect the bed no bed will last less than 1 hour, unsupervised just let it be without education there will be no toy, blanket, sofa, or bed that lasts....and leaving the beds to outside rain and sun- runs the beds of life too...I have tried so many brands - so far the only one keeping up with the training and the pups diverse personalities is this one. Of course I have to put some behavioral control points otherwise I will be buying beds every other day....goes with toys, food bowl, furniture, etc. And on the months the pups are in the teeth phase you need to add behavioral control points - and get the special toys to remove the attention toward the beds, furniture, etc....the thing I love more about this beds - it is the structure - does not go funny and i don't have to be jumping to fix the structure and the dogs can go on them trusting it will not jump something - plus they really love the beds....as the other brands they go by themselves and prefer to be more on this beds than the furniture....they are fresh too!! I get about 4 months out of each cover until I need a new one but its no big deal, I have it set up for subscribe and save so it doesn't hit the bank account as hard as other things. The 85lb labrador likes to really fluff up his bed so these outdoor cots take a beating. He rips beds apart and it takes a while for him to do it to these mesh fabric cots. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been purchasing coolaroo cots since we got our first English bulldog in 2011. I started with 1 large one and had to replace the fabric about 4 times until the frame finally dry rotted/broke in 2020. We bought more cots each time we got another dog so they could each have their own. They stand up well to English and French bulldogs playing on and under them instead of laying on them. Easy to put together! Over the years the screws got better but I would still purchase 4 longer ones to replace those. If using inside, I would also suggest getting 4 crutch tips for the feet so they don’t scratch your wood flooring. The fabric dryrots and the stitching gets loose about year 8. Rust starts on frame around year 6 but it still holds up for another 4 before it’s unusable. Washes and dries easily and plenty of colors to choose from! Some colors are more expensive and seem thicker than others and sometimes plasticky if Amazon send you a generic one. I wouldn’t care if I hadn’t owned these cots since 2011 and know the difference. I prefer the real Coolaroo fabric and not the shinier plastic ones they might send sometimes. Read more
The dogs just love laying on these beds. Location will determine how often these will be replaced; but having the replacement is the point.. Really enjoy the product and still reasonably priced. Read more
